The next morning, I woke up with a bit of sunlight in the room. "Morning already? That's a problem." I mumbled while sitting up. "Yep, it's morning." The Black Rabbit mentioned. "You're still here?" I asked, looking at him. "Uh-huh." He replied.

I yawned before laying back down in the bed. "You're really gonna stay in bed all day?" He asked. "That's the plan." I said as I closed my eyes, trying to go back to sleep. "Isn't there anything you wanna do today?" The Black Rabbit asked.

"Hmm..." I hummed to myself as I thought of something to do."Oh, yeah. Tonight's the festival. I guess I'll go to enjoy the fireworks. I hear they're supposed to be beautiful again this year." I said in an emotionless tone. "Okay, but what are you gonna do in the meantime?" He asked.

"I'm probably gonna sleep." I said. "You're lazier than a sloth!"

When the sun was starting to set, I went to the festival. As I walked around, my stomach began to growl. "I'm kind of hungry." I mumbled to myself. I did a quick circle around the festival and bought a lot of food.

"The food here is really not that bad." I said, emotionlessly. As I ate my food, I gazed at the sky, waiting for the fireworks. I'm pretty sure they start at seven sharp. I looked towards a crowd when I heard an explosion.

"Uh-oh. Looks like something's happened. That's a problem." I mentioned. I looked towards the sky when I saw Uncle Ash with Mahiru. Was that a briefcase he just threw into the air? I decided to fly over there to see what was up.

"Did I just see you throw a briefcase into the air?" I asked as I stood next to them. "That wasn't a briefcase! It was a bomb!" Mahiru said. "No kidding?" I asked, emotionlessly. "Don't worry. I took care of it." A teenage boy with blonde hair.

"Who are you?" I asked as the coffin lid opened up. "I can't believe you blew up the coffin... even though I was inside." A bat said as he floated to the ground. "Hugh? You were in there? I've been looking for you everywhere. I thought you disappeared." The teenage blonde said.

"Hugh?" Mahiru repeated. "Oh. Long time no seee." Uncle Ash said. "Hi, Uncle Old Child." I greeted. "Uncle Old Child?" Mahiru repeated. "This is the Servamp of Pride, Old Child." Uncle Ash introduced. "A Servamp?" Mahiru repeated.

After Uncle Old Child was healed up, he introduced himself, saying he was the mightiest of Servamps, even though he was very tiny. "It's been a long time, Eiko. Where have you been?" Uncle Old Child asked. "Living with Uncle Doubt Doubt." I answered, emotionlessly.

"Oh... Really?"

"Uh-huh."

"To be honest, I figured you'd be living with Sleepy Ash."

"He's too lazy to take care of me."

"Now that's just cold." Uncle Ash said, lazily. "Sorry, but it's the truth. I'm going to get some food, then probably head home." I informed. "So soon?" Uncle Old Child asked.

"Yeah. Uncle Doubt Doubt doesn't know I'm here. If he finds out I snuck out, he'll probably get mad at me. See you later." I said, heading back to the festival to grab some food. "The festival was fun. Even more fun because Uncle Ash and Uncle Old Child were here." I said.

Once I had my food, I sat on a roof, eating some sweets while thinking of Tsubaki. I blushed as I thought back to when he kissed my cheek and healed my eye. "Does he really like me?" I murmured.

A gunshot was heard and I saw Uncle Ash being chased. "Those are vampire hunters of C3. That's a problem." I said, emotionlessly. I left my stuff where they were before flying towards my uncle. "Uncle Ash!" I called.

I grabbed under his arms and took off into the air. "What's going on? Why are you being chased? What did you do?" I asked. "Look out!" He warned. "Argh!" I got shot in the shoulder, causing me to lose my balance and fall to the ground.

Uncle Ash tumbled out of my arms, rolling forward. "Uncle Ash, are you alright?" I called to him. "Lookie what I found! A vampire girl!"

"Oof!" I got kicked in the stomach, making me roll towards Uncle Ash. "Eiko!" I sat up with a grunt. "What a pain." I mumbled. Suddenly, we were surrounded by black and white glowing rods.

"I really don't wanna deal with this." Uncle Ash said. "What do we do?" I asked. "Kuro!" I looked towards the sky as Mahiru was flying towards us on a glowing black and blue broomstick. He grabbed Kuro's hand as I grabbed onto the end of the broom while Mahiru flew off into the sky, saving us.

As we flew far away from the C3 hunters, Kuro sat behind Mahiru, his arms rested on the his head while I sat behind them. "Don't act cool when you can't even control your broom!" Uncle Ash said as he dashed down.

"I thought I was getting good at this!" Mahiru said. "Not yet." I chimed in. "I'm hungry. Can I have some of your blood, Uncle Ash?" I asked. "Didn't you just eat?" He asked. "I did, but those hunters shot me, so I'm starving." I explained.

"Just don't take so much that I pass out." He said. "I doubt that'll happen." I replied, then bit his neck. "Ouch. That hurt, you know." Uncle Ash mentioned. "Sorry." I said into his neck as I drank his blood until I was full.
