There's always something weird happening in Beacon Hills, but at this very moment, everything was peaceful. This was quite unnerving to me; Ever since I moved here I can't recall a time when I didn't have to be on alert every hour.

I keep pacing back-and-forth in my bedroom, waiting for an urgent phone call to inform me that something is wrong, or more importantly, that someone is in danger.

But to my anxiousness, nothing comes.

I sigh frustratedly (this is probably the tenth time I've sighed in the past minute) and pick up my bow to get some target practice in the woods.

Lydia Martin, my very best friend, tried to get me to come shopping with her today. I told her I was busy, but truthfully, I didn't feel like leaving my house. Just incase anything were to happen.

I can't blame Lydia for trying to get me out of the house. The rest of my friends have been pestering me about it, too. The good thing about my friends is that we're basically family. We call ourselves, "The Pack", because we are basically the heroes in Beacon Hills; Hardly anything surprises us anymore. Werewolves, banshees, kitsunes, we've seen it all.

I never used to believe in the super-natural. To me, it was all fairy-tale stuff. But I learned the hard way that it was real. To my surprise, most of my friends were super-natural creatures.

My friends, Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, Isaac Lahey, Jackson Whittemore, and Lydia Martin (and me of course) make up The Pack. Scott is the leader of The Pack, since he's an alpha werewolf. However, he makes sure to not abuse his power.

They rest of the group are various creatures , and sometimes they really do drive me crazy. But they make my fucked-up life seem normal. I love them all at heart, even if I don't show it.

Stiles and I are the only humans with no supernatural abilities or features, which bothers me sometimes. But I also know that I can take care of myself. I've been a trained hunter since birth; I know how to fight one-on-one (or even me vs. more than one), use several different weapons, trap creatures, and think efficiently in an emergency. I'm pretty self-sufficient when it comes to survival.

When I reach the woods near my house, I immediately feel the tension leaving my body. Archery comes surprisingly natural to me. Everytime I shoot an arrow it feels like I'm letting go of one problem at a time.

I shoot arrows until my arm is too sore to continue. The sun is starting to set, so I figure it's about time to head back home.

I pick-up my belongings and begin to start my journey home.

"You forgot something," A voice calls behind me.

I spin a full 360° so fast, my head is dizzy and my surroundings blur. When I focus, I see my bow is aimed right at a male, who's dressed in a peculiar costume. Except he isn't wearing a mask, which is stupid. Why wear the costume at all if you aren't going to dress head-to-toe? Everything about him seemed suspicious.

"What?" I breathe, and blink numerous times stupidly.

"Uh, you're arrow," he extends his hand, with indeed, one of my arrows. He arches a brow and smirks slightly.
