Before I knew it, it was already two weeks later.

Peter and I were so busy over these past few weeks with school, planning homecoming, Peter's lacrosse practices and  me training with my bow, not to mention Peter got the job he applied for and now we worked together. He also got into NHS, and we have meetings biweekly. Between all of that, we had little free time. And unfortunately, our spare time was not spent productively towards Peter's family mystery case. No progress was made at all. Although we did find other ways to pass the time... kisses may have been involved.

I find myself thinking of Peter once again before snapping out of my reverie.

"Focus, Allison," Peter says into my ear through a communication device. Thankfully Peter didn't ask why I had a pair of them. Maybe one day I'll tell him my family hunts supernatural creatures. But that day is certainly not today.

Currently, we are on a little mission Peter has decidedly named Operation Aunt, because it is a two stage process involving both of our aunts. The first part requires me to look into Kate's background, and the second part relies on Peter to look into May's background. I'll give it to Peter, the name is kind of ingenious.

"And you're positive no one is home?" Peter asks for the millionth time.

I pinch the bridge of my nose in annoyance. "Yes. They left a little bit ago,"

"When will they be back? And where are they going?"

"I don't know," I bite my lip. Those are the only kinks in the plan. "So we have to stop wasting time. Check the cameras if you're really that unsure,"

I gave Peter access on his computer to all of the several cameras rigged inside and outside of my house. I just hope my parents don't get an alert from the action.

"All clear, head inside," he confirms.

Upon entering, I instantly look for the cameras in the guest room she's staying in. I find and disable four cameras in total, which is a bit of excessive. But it tells me that she is definitely hiding something.

"Allison, I can't see the room now!" Peter panics.

I wince. "Please don't scream in my ear. And will you just relax? I have to make sure there is absolutely no evidence,"

"This is making me very anxious,"

"Shush," I silence him. "We have to delete the footage the cameras picked up before I disabled all of them. I can do it, just don't forget to remind me,"

"Fine," I can tell he's irritated.

The room looks pretty standard, she hasn't changed much. I wonder how long she's staying? Based on the amount of luggage, it seems like a long time.

"I guess I'll start with the luggage," I inform Peter, since he can't my actions.

Each luggage has a silver plate in the center, with the initials K. A. engraved, and on each top there is a lock with a 4 digit code underneath.
