It's been a week since the break-up with Peter and the listening device incident. And nothing remotely interesting has happened since then.

I half-expected Peter and I to get back together again, because we always "break-up". But I guess this time was official.

So far I've kept my distance from Scott, and Lydia and I have kind of drifted, so it feels pretty lonely.

Speak of the red-headed devil.

"Allison," Lydia begins in a chirpy tone as her Jimmy choo's click loudly against the school floor.

"Yes, Lydia?" I sound noticeably less enthusiastic. Although, Lydia doesn't seem to acknowledge my attitude.

"Can I get a ride with you after school back to your house? I need to tell you..." Lydia looks around briefly, "a lot of things," she finishes quietly.

I can't say that this didn't peak my interest. I wonder if she has something to say about Peter?

"Sure," I say, and Lydia's lips quirk into a genuine smile that she rarely gives.

It feels a little less lonely.

School's over, and true to my word, I ride Lydia back to my house.

As we near my house, I grow more and more anxious about what Lydia has to tell me. I have a feeling it's serious.

"Remember that date I went on?" Lydia begins, as she sits criss-crossed on my bed.

I roll my eyes, "You're going to have to be a little more specific,". The amount of dates Lydia goes on is unreal.

"The most recent one I told you about. I said that it was going to be a serious relationship?"

I shake my head, trying- but failing miserably-to remember.

"The only one I didn't sleep with," Lydia says frustratedly.

"Oh! Now I remember,".

"Yeah, well there's a lot I didn't tell you about that date," Lydia takes a deep breath.

"Hold on," I stop Lydia before she tells her story. "Is this just gossip? Or is this serious information," I hope it's the latter. I seriously will be so annoyed if all she has to tell me is gossip about her date.

"Serious information, Allison! Let me speak," She squeaks.

"Alright, alright! Continue,"

"So back to the date. Actually let me back up to when we met," Lydia thinks pensively for a second before continuing. "Sorry just want to make sure it's right,"

"For the love of God, please speed this along,"

"Okay, so I was in the woods-"

"Why?" I interrupt.

"Unimportant. Anyways so I was in the woods, and all of the sudden I saw something hop down from a tree. Considering our dangerous history of supernatural creatures, I immediately pulled out my little switchblade. You know, the one you got me?"

I nod, remembering the weapon I gifted to her at her half-birthday party.

"As he neared closer I saw that the creature had a figure of a man. Then he spoke to me and said my name, and he sounded like a normal man, too."

"How did he know your name?"

"I don't know,"

"And you went on a date with this mystery man?"
