Remember: this is an AU. The Peter Parker in this story is how I write him, although similar, he is not the exact same Peter Parker as the one in the MCU. And the same with Allison. Happy Reading:)

Today's the day I'm supposed to tell Allison that I am more, much more, than a boy named Peter Parker. That I am abnormally strong, my reflexes and senses are heightened, and I can climb walls. That I can see in the dark, talk to spiders, heal myself quickly without thinking twice about it. That I am a crime-fighting superhero in New York who is probably going to become an Avenger (fingers crossed).

Aunt May isn't home, so I write her a note saying I'm going out. I'm ready to leave when I hear a light rap at the door. My house is in the middle of the forest, who could possibly be knocking? So I grab my pocket knife out of my jeans as I head for the door.

I open the door quickly and gasp, stuffing my knife back into my pocket swiftly.

"Kate?"

"You remembered my name," Kate smiles wolfishly. "Anywho, I just wanted to drop by and tell you that Allison is busy today. I know you had some plans today," she pauses and smirks, "But do you care to chat with me?"

"Erm. . . what?"

"My niece is a sneaky one, but there isn't much she can get past me,"

I just stand there frozen, jaw slack in sheer awe in response to the words coming from Allison's aunt.

"So what did you want to tell Allison today?" She steps closer to me.

I instinctively step back and shake my head. "I don't know what you are talking about,"

She rolls her eyes, clearly not buying a word I'm saying. "If you can't even tell me, Peter, do you really think you want to tell Allison?"

"I'm close with Allison!" I say defensively. "And I barely know who you are," I add with a huff.

"We're closer than you think," Kate whispers with another smirk.

"Get out of my house," I snarl, done with her antics.

Kate's eyes darken. "I would rethink telling anyone your secrets, Peter. I know more about you than you think,"

That makes no sense- Kate wouldn't have asked me to tell my secrets if she already knew them.

"You're lying," I cross my arms over my chest affirmatively.

A beat of tense silence passes before I tell her to get out again.

Kate says her final words, "Peter, do not tell that girl your secrets."

I'm supposed to meet Allison at 12:00, it's currently 12:45. Yeah, I didn't go through with my plan to tell Allison that I was basically a fucking spider.

Kate may have been bluffing, but if she was, she put a hell of a good show on. I freaked out as soon as she left.

But now that I can confirm there is definitely something shady about Kate, I really should talk to Allison. It's her aunt anyways, she'd probably be able to contribute some information.

Fuckkkkkk. I massage my temple before sighing and grabbing my keys.
