The Gungan marching band played happily as the Gungans danced happily down the streets of the Capital of Naboo. Today was the day the Naboo and Gungans would officially claim peace between the two species. The Jedi Council stayed to see this beacon of hope and peace that the Naboo were showing, and Chancellor Palpatine stayed to see his homeworld unite. Padmé asked Obi Wan, Anakin, and I to stand alongside her and the other Naboo leaders because we helped the unification. The Jedi Council and Padmé's family stood behind us as we waited for the Gungans to reach us. The street was decorated beautifully with ribbons and flowers and the joyful music lifted everyone's spirits. Children laughed and threw flowers as the Gungans passed dancing with pride. Crowds cheered and waved ribbons as flower petals were raining from the skies. Jar looked like he was having too much fun and I had to fight to keep down a smile. I stood between Anakin and Artoo while Master Ti was standing with the Council. Anakin and I both looked up at Obi Wan, whom no longer had a Padawan braid. He gave us a small smile of approval before returning his focus forward. I watched as Boss Nass, Jar Jar, and a Gungan General got off their Kaaus. Padmé then stepped forward to meet Boss Nass and took the Globe of Peace with her. She turned and handed a smiling Boss Nass the Globe. He turned to face everyone and raised the glowing Globe for everyone to see.

"Peace!" he shouted as the crowd's cheers became louder.

Padmé turned and looked at Anakin and me with a smile on her face. We both returned her smile before looking at each other and bumping our shoulders laughing.

When we arrived back to Corusaunt Anakin and I were buzzing with excitement. I wanted to show him every inch of the Jedi temple and he could hardly contain his excitement about seeing all of the temple himself. I knew to keep myself calm on the outside because I was not only with my new Master, but I was also surrounded by highly respected Jedi Masters and Knights. Anakin did attempt to keep himself calm, but his untrained antics sometimes got the best of him. Obi often had to ask him to be still on the flight back.

Halfway through showing him the temple, Anakin exclaimed, "Oh! I forgot to tell you!"

I glanced back at him and gave him a warning look; we were in the library after all, "Shh, what?"

"Obi Wan is my Master! He told me so at Master Qui Gon's funeral," he said his eyes aglow.

I smiled genuinely at him at first, but I found myself forcing myself to keep it up. I was happy for him. It was a huge honor, but a pang of jealousy also rang through me. So many padawans wait years to be chosen, yet he stepped into the temple twice and had never trained before. "That's wonderful," I told him cheerfully, despite my thoughts.

"I know! And Shaak Ti is also your Master! This means we might be able to train together!" he smiles before grabbing me into a hug.

I froze immediately. He was hugging me in the Library with Jedi and Padawan alike were everywhere. I suddenly heard my Master call out my name, and I quickly pulled away from Anakin. I quickly glanced towards her and saw Obi by her side. I quickly averted my eyes to the floor. I knew there was no rule stating hugging is prohibited, but the rule about attachments flashed through my head. I hoped Shaak Ti did not think I was getting attached. In the back of my mind, I knew I was, however, I was not going to admit that to myself.

"Luana," Master said once she reached me, "we must go," I watched her shift her eyes toward Anakin for a split second. I looked at her shamefully and attempted to open my mouth to answer, but it was dry. "Come on," she added

"Bye Anakin," I said without looking at him. My voice was almost like a whisper, but I knew he heard me because he also wished me goodbye. I did not dare look back at the boy who the voice in the back of my head is fond of, because the rest of my head was afraid the voice would get louder, taunt me more, if I did.

A/N:

Hellooooo!

I completely changed this chapter because I did not like how I put in those middle parts there lazily. I'd rather entangle them into a chapter instead, so for now, this will just be a shitty short chapter until I can wrap my head along how I can make it better. Anyways here's another chapter! Next is Episode II (with some dialogue change bc no George, no)

Have a wonderful rest of your day lovelies!
