Ruthless | Anakin Skywalker

I-VI

      I took in a deep breath trying to focus. I was sat cross legged next to my new Master Shaak Ti. I felt honored to be a Padawan this young. As one of her first lessons she wanted to show me deeper connections to the Force. She informed me I would grow stronger through mediation, so we decided to mediate and venture into what the Force wanted us to do. I had a Padawan braid now running over my left shoulder and the rest of my hair was in a french braid. Some hairs were too short to be contained by the braid and were small wisps framing my face.  I had yet to pick out new clothes, and I was still in my traditional youngling clothes. I tried to concentrate and soon a familiar planet came into view, but it was surrounded in darkness. I frowned in confusion as to why the Force would show me it.

"What do you see?" Master Shaak Ti asked whom was also meditating.

"I see," I hesitated and furrowed my eyebrows making sure I was correct, "Naboo," I answered. I saw a ship start enter the beautiful planet's atmosphere.

"It's surrounded in darkness. I don't understand, Master,"

"Your journey took place on Naboo, didn't it?" asked Master Ti as I broke from my meditative state.

"Yes, but Master why would the Force show me Naboo? My part of the mission is over."

"What do you believe?" she asked.

I thought about it. I am not assigned to the mission, nor was I ever. The Force makes no mistakes, and I was on that mission for a purpose. I glanced up to Shaak Ti and wondering if she'd even let me go. I could get in trouble for leaving without being dispatched again.

"Master, I must finish my mission on Naboo. The Force put me in this mission for a reason, and I must finish it."

"Your courage is far beyond your years, my young Padawan," Shaak Ti paused as if she were searching her options, "I cannot tell you to proceed without the Council's approval, but I also cannot tell you to not follow the ways of the Force. The way of the Jedi is to follow the Force and it's teachings to keep peace in the galaxy."

I processed what she said realizing she was indirectly giving me permission. I smile grew on my face before I hugged her, "Thank you, Master. I will not let you down. I will help bring peace to Naboo."

She placed her hand on my back lightly hugging me back. I sprung up and started to run to the landing platform, "I'll see you soon, Master," I called over my shoulder. I ran down the halls of the Temple with my hair flying behind me. I hoped I wasn't too late to board the ship leaving for Naboo. I found the ship and saw Master Qui Gon and Obi already boarding, but Anakin was still on the platform with Artoo.

"Anakin!' I called and ran up to him, "I'm going with you to Naboo."

Artoo gave a happy chirp and Anakin smiled, "C'mon let's get on board before they leave us!" We ran to the ship and Artoo followed.

When we got on board Master Qui Gon and Obi Wan saw me.

"Luana? What are you doing here? The Council never informed us-"

"The Council never assigned me to come here," I interrupted Obi, "The Force put me on this mission from the start, and I believe it also wants me to finish it."

"This is not a good idea, young one," Qui Gon looked down at me, "the Council will not be happy about this. Even so, if the Force wills it then we shall follow. You must stay close and follow directions like you have been." I smiled. I was starting to understand why he was not on the Council, but I still respected him more than any Master on the Council. I glanced back at Anakin before returning my attention back to Master Qui Gon. I saw him glance at my new Padawan braid, "And congratulations on graduating and becoming a Padawan," he smiled.
