"So you're the new secretary." An old lady greeted me right after I entered their office. She looked at me from head to toe habang tumatango-tango. "Maganda at sexy, no wonder he chose you."

Uhm, excuse me grandma pero anong ibig sabihin mo dun sa sinabi mo? Are you saying that I'm just a normal secretary trying to flirt with her boss. Damn, hindi ata ako kilala nang matandang ito. This is what I'm talking about. Kaya ayokong lumipat ng trabaho. At my previous job, na-build ko na yung reputation ko and I have proved myself worthy of my position. Pero dito, parang back to zero ulit.

"I'm Carol, I was his father's secretary before and now I'm the Vice President of this company. Nice to meet you." Pagpapakilala niya.

Kaya naman pala malakas ang loob nitong matandang 'to eh. Anyway, stop, Kashmere. You have to respect elders, okay?

"I'm Kashmere Costello." Then I smiled, my million dollar smile.

"Psh, di kayo pareho ni Karina. She's much more.. demure." Sabi niya at tsaka umalis.

Lola, kung wala lang akong respeto sa mga matatanda, nasabi ko na sayo na malamang di kami magkapareho ni Karina dahil mas magaling ako. Sanay naman na akong sinasabihan na may mahinihin si Karina, kasi nga boring siya. Buti nalang at mahal ko yung kapatid ko na 'yon.

I followed her at nakarating na rin sa opisina ni Zade. Nameplate ni Zues ang nakalagay doon kaya naman dun ko narealize na finifill-in lang pala niya ang pwestong naiwan ni Zues. I wonder why he doesn't have his own position here?

"Goodmorning, Sir." I greeted. He looked so busy bago ako dumating at ang daming papel na nakatambak sa harap niya. He stood up and walked closer to me.

"Morning. Here's your desk." Sabi niya while leading the way. Hmm, in fairness medyo boss ang aura niya ngayon ah. It kinda fits him. He pointed at a desk na nasa tabi ng pintuan niya. "Alam mo naman na siguro ang gagawin. Good luck."

Then he went back to his desk. Woah, I didn't expect him to be this serious in his workplace. I looked around and accepted the fact na dito na talaga ako magtatrabaho. Pero wait lang, what will happen to me once Zues comes back? Since ang sabi ni Zade ay magiging secretary niya ako while he's here, ano nang mangyayari sakin kapag wala na siya?

"Uhm, Zade.. I mean, Mr. Evardome?" Tawag ko sa kanya.

"Yes?" Sagot niya nang hindi manlang tumitingin sakin.

"What will happen to me once Zues comes back?" I asked. He then looked at me.

"Be my wife." He said then smiled.

"Ehem, he'll be back in a week. Please give me a proper answer."

"Well, I'll probably stop working here and do something. At ikaw, you will assume my old job." Tignan mo nga 'tong lalaking 'to. He snatches me away from my old boss and then give me an unplanned future. Ito na nga bang sinasabi ko eh.

"What's your old job, by the way?" I asked.

"Go on business trips and inspect smaller companies. I think you're perfect for the job. That's why I also pulled you here for you to get accustomed to it." He answered.

Tumango naman ako. Well, if its traveling then wala akong problema sa ganung klaseng trabaho. Its better than sitting on a chair all day.

"Or just actually be my wife." He added.

"Grabe, I'm so busy." Sabi ko then started checking what's inside my computer. I heard him laugh before going back to work.

Zade is really serious when it comes to his work. Naalala kong galing pala siyang ibang bansa. Ano kayang ginagawa niya doon when he can easily get a job here? He can actually just sleep in his house and still earn money pero bakit he chose to stay overseas? Ngayong ko lang narealize that I don't know a lot of things about him habang siya ay mukhang kilalang kilala na ako.
