"Goodmorning!!" Halos malaglag ako sa kama ko dahil sa gulat nang bigla nalang pumasok si Zade sa kwarto ko.

Damn this guy. Paano siya nakapasok eh parati kong nilolock yung pinto? Then I remembered, we have spare keys of all the rooms in this mansion, good job.

"Labas." Mahinahon kong sinabi kay Zade. Ayoko ma-stress early in the morning. I had enough last night so please please please, let me sleep even just for a while.

"Let's have breakfast!" Yaya ni Zade.

"Zade, I have work."

"Ohh, okay then. If ever, nasa The Grind lang ako."

Then he left the room. Okay? I was sure I  made it clear to him na hindi ako makakapunta so bakit niya kailangang sabihin kung nasan siya mamaya?

Whatever. First thing na kailangan kong gawin ngayon ay ang pumunta sa office and explain myself to Alfred. If he fires me, its okay, I just want my name cleared. I have to look my best just in case. Nang matapos akong mag-ayos ay naka-alis na si Zade. Naalala ko na naman yung nangyari kagabi. Parang na-hang over pa ako sa nangyari at sinusubukan ko nalang kalimutan muna.

I went straight to our office and I kind of already expected na pagtitinginan ako ng mga katrabaho ko. Some were whispering with each other and looking at me. Can you be more obvious, guys?

"I'm sure she'll get fired." I heard them say. Hindi niyo na kailangan pang sabihin dahil ako din ay sigurado.

I knocked first before going inside. Mukhang alam naman na ni Alfred na ako iyon dahil hindi na siya tumingin pa sa'kin at nagpatuloy lang sa kanyang ginagawa.

"Sir."

"Congratulations, you got promoted." Iyon agad ang bumungad sa'kin.

"Promoted?" Di makapaniwalang tanong ko.

"The Evardome Group offered a partnership to us, in exchange for you. Alam mo naman siguro kung gaano ko kagustong magkaroon ng connection sa kanila, di ba?" He answered. Evardome Group? That Zade, I'm sure he did something. "Your performance here in the company might have reached their ears kaya gusto ka nilang makuha."

So the partnership covered the fact that I ditched him last night. He didn't seem to mind it. Parang masaya pa nga siya dahil nga makakakuha siya ng bagong business oppurtunity. And that freakin' Zade Evardome! He knows what Alfred wants kaya naman he took the oppurtunity to get me. Both of them are freakin idiots!!

"So, congratulations to your new job. I've already prepared everything for your transfer." Sabi niya then he smiled.

"Thank you for everything." Sagot ko at tumalikod.

Well, hindi na ako nagulat na ganun nalang kadali sa kanyang bitawan ako. I may be a great employee pero hindi ko mapapantayan ang kagustuhan ni Alfred na lumawak ang negosyo niya. He's a businessman, okay.

I was about to go out nang magsalita na naman siya, "I really liked you, Kashmere. But last night's incident was my wake up call. I'm not giving up on you, if that's what you're thinking."

Hindi na ako nagsalita pa at lumabas na ng opisina niya. This is the first time that I've actually felt bad about ditching a guy like Alfred. I didn't know he was this serious with me. Akala ko dati he was just trying to get me to feed his ego, pero based on how he acted today, hindi ko na alam. What do I actually know about this? Ni hindi ko nga alam kung anong gagawin kay Zade eh.

But then again, I have to talk to him about this. Obviously, siya ang may pakana nang paglipat ko. Kaya pala sinabi niya kung saan siya pupunta ngayon dahil alam niyang susugurin ko siya once na malaman ko ang ginawa niya. I went straight to The Grind and saw him there, casually drinking his overly sweet coffee.
