"You're right, we're like the north and the south pole. There's this big distance between us. But maybe, its time to use that distance, that space, for growth and for realizations. For us to know what's really important." Those were her last words before we seperated.

After she left my condo, I went inside the room that I dedicated for her. Every single time we went on dates, I would always take a picture of her. No matter what she does, eating, laughing, chasing a cat, I would capture it because I knew that if ever there might come a time when all I can do is stare into these photos and wonder why I'm not with the real thing, I am ready.

"Look at you." Gale suddenly showed up. I was so distracted, hindi ko narinig ang pagbukas ng pinto. "Kaya pala I can't stay in this room. What are you, a stalker?"

I was sitting in a corner with tears in my eyes. I was not the Earl Zade Evardome that people knew. I was just a normal guy who chose his career over a girl.

"Pick yourself up, you dumbass." Galit na sabi ni Gale. "All of us make choices, Zade. Either we regret it or we learn from it. What you have to do is accept that choice and take responsibility."

The next morning, I went to France with Gale. It was fine at first, but as the days went by, I couldn't focus on the work I was tasked to do. I felt incomplete? I was unexpectedly unhappy. Few months passed and I've somehow recovered, but I was still unhappy. It was like something in me was left behind.

I tried to go back to what I was before. Fortunately, I've managed. Galit na galit na kasi si Gale dahil sana daw hindi na ako sumama sa kanya dito kung magigig pabigat lang ako sa kanya.

"What's up?" Robin asked me. Hindi ko din alam kung bakit nasa France 'tong lalaking 'to ngayon, nagulat nalang ako at bigla siyang nagmessage na magkita daw kami. We decided to just meet in a bistro malapit sa pinagtatrabahuhan ko.

"I heard from Liam you're finally dating some chic?" Balik tanong ko sa kanya. I'm curious cause Robin never really settled before. I mean, after his first relationship ended, he never got interested in other girls anymore. He's loyal to someone who's never coming back to him. Poor guy.

"I'm not dating her. She's the one chasing after me, its annoying really." Sagot niya.

"Hmmm, and you let her chase after you? That's new." Pangaasar ko sa kanya. Robin might be the good guy in our group but once he's a poison tongued prince. He will not hesitate to tell you the truth, even if it will hurt you badly.

"She's persistent." He said.

"Or maybe, you just can't hurt her."

"Can we stop talking about me now? Ikaw ang pinunta ko dito, okay?" Inis na sagot niya. Tinawanan ko lang ang tropa ko, he's changed. "Anyway, kailan ka babalik?"

"I don't have any plans of coming back yet."

"Seriously? And here I thought you wouldn't last 3 months in here."

"I'm not that obsessed with Kashmere, okay?"

He just laughed at me and shook his head. Mukhang hindi siya naniniwala sa sinagot ko. Fine fine, I wanted to go back a month after I got here. I heard from Zues that Kashmere resigned from his company and applied to be a volunteer at her mother's charity foundation. I never thought she would do that dahil iba ang pagkaka-kilala ko sa kanya. She has changed so much in just a short amount of time that's why I decided to stay here and pick myself up.
