Serenity's P.o.v.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ran in the cabin right after Caden, seeing a crying Lillie in Levi's arms.
"Lillie!" I cried running over to the couch. When I sat down, she shifted to look at me.
"What's wrong Lil?"
"You... don't ....trust me...." She managed between sobs.
My heart broke. I started sobbing too, and hugged her.
"Lillie.... I wanted.... To tell you.... But he.... He... He.." I couldn't finish. I jerked away.
"I'm sorry! I did this to you! I'm sorry!" I cried, pacing and shaking.
"Serenity. It's not your-" Caden started.
"Yes it is! It's my fault Lillie thinks I don't trust her! It's my fault this summer will suck for you guys! It's my fault Mace is like this! It's my fault you're in love with a... A.... Monster!"I cried, and ran out the door.
I heard Caden calling my name, along with Levi, and Lillie. I didn't look back.
"SERENITY COME BACK WHAT IF HE FINDS YOU?" Caden called.
I stopped, and looked back.
"Then this mess will all be over." I told him as he approached me. He reached out to me, but I was faster then him.
As I cried lightning crossed the sky. It was dark and pouring rain. I finally stopped at a cabin. I knocked on the door twice before collapsing on the steps.
The door swung open, reveling a tall boy with black hair. His eyes were a brilliant blue, looking like the ocean after a storm with stars speckled in.
"Sen! What's wrong?" He asked, scooping me up in his arms bride style, and running me to his bed.
I wasn't worried about what anyone would think of this. It was a well know fact he was gay. He had a boyfriend and everything. They were cute together.
He cradled me in his arms, rocking me back and forth. I cried on his shoulder.
"It's my... My fault.... Benedict... It's my fault... Their hurt...." I said.
"Shhhh...." He tried. He kept rocking me, failing to calm me down. Then he did what I had hoped he would do the whole time. He used his superpower on me.
He was gifted with angel's voice. When he sings, it calms anyone down.
I calmed down, still latched onto him. I had my arms around his shoulders, and he held me protectively. He was like my favorite big brother. I loved him so much.
"Great-" I yawned "now I'm tired."
"Crying like that would wear anyone out. Fall asleep." He told me, wiping hair out of my face.
"I... I can't..." I whispered.
"I'll protect you from the nightmares." He answered, and laid me down in his bed. He kissed my forehead after tucking me in, and sat on the foot of the bed.
"Sleep. Ill keep them away. Ill protect you from anything." He assured me, with his hand on mine, only seperated by the covers.
He started singing again, and I took my had out from under the covers. I snaked my fingers into his and held his hand.
"Can I tell you something?" I asked, sitting up.
"Of corse Sen!" He said, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I leaned into him and started talking.
I told him about growing up with Mace. How Mace hated me because I was born with superpowers and he wasn't. He was loving and kind and the best brother ever until we found out. Then he started asking me how I did it. How I was able to get them. He started getting violent when I said I didn't know.
I told him about how Mace did tests on me, and took blood samples and things when we were home alone or I was asleep
I told Benedict everything.
"So basically, Lillie thinks she's a bad friend because Mace wouldn't let me tell her, Levi probably hates me for hurting her, and Caden... He.. He's really worried about me." I said.
"Wrong." Benedict said.
"Why do you mean?"
"None of this is your fault Sen.
