Chapter 12
*🛏🕰😵🙄

Smokeysky and Cloudflash stared at the mysterious cat. Cloudflash seemed more shocked and surprised than Smokeysky was.

"A-Acornfall?" Cloudflash stammered. "I-I thought you were dead. We all did."

"Starclan called me here. I've waited here for moons, waiting for the cat who would make 4 become 5." She responded dryly.

"Wait, 4 become 5." Smokeysky glanced at Cloudflash, his expression mirrored hers. "That was in my prophecy."

Curiosity was written on the grey and brown she-cat's face, "What was your prophecy?"

"Smoke will fill the sky and 4 must become 5 to destroy the snow on a simple leaf."

"Similar to my prophecy. A grey cat with eyes the color of the sky will make 4 become 5 and destroy the snow that has fallen." Acornfall narrowed her eyes. "I get it now. You must unite them."

"What do you mean?" Smokeysky asked.

Acornfall ignored Smokeysky, "What is your name?"

"Smokeysky."

"There were multiple prophecies given to different cats. Cats that would not betray their clans. You have to find them Smokeysky and bring them here all in one place!" Acornfall had a certain fire blazing in her eyes. "I must have been brought here to help you."

Cloudflash had been silent during the while fiasco. He stillmwas shocked that Acornfall was still alive, Tell me. Why didn't you tell me where you were going? Aren't we siblings?"

"You're siblings? I thought you were the only one in your litter."

"We were born in different litters."

"I didn't tell you or anyone because I felt ashamed. I thought I was betraying my clan, so I faked my own death to prevent anyone accusing you of betraying your clan too." Acornfall explained sadly.

Cloudflash was at the brink of tears, "Didn't you miss us?"

"Everyday."

Smokeysky licked him on the ear to comfort him. He was so happy that is sister was still alive, and Smokeysky didn't know what to do so she just stood around awkwardly.

"My question is, why would Starclan bring you here to help me if we were in different clans?" Smokeysky asked after everyone calmed down.

"I'm not sure, but I know other cats have similar prophecies. I was just the first one to be brought here. StarClan destined me for this and I intend to complete my destiny no matter what it is or how hard it may be to do." She glanced at Cloudflash briefly.

"You always were like that." Cloudflash murmured.

Acornfall brushed her tail against his flank, "So did you earn your warrior name?" Right, Acornfall wouldn't know.

Cloudflash brightened up, "It's the best warrior name ever! My name is-"

"Mousebrain." I finished for him. "It suits him perfectly."

Acornfall laughed, "It really does suit him perfectly."

"Hey! My name is Cloudflash not Mousebrain."

"I've been meaning to ask. How did you know other cats had similar prophecies?" Smokeysky asked, changing the subject.

"I heard them talking about it at a gathering. Even thought I live here now, I still went to gatherings every once in a while." Acornfall explained.

Cloudflash nervously shifted his paws, "How many gatherings did you see?"

Knowing what Cloudflash meant, Acornfall replied, "Enough to see you fall off that tree." She laughed.

"When did that happen?" Smokeysky asked.

"After Frogpatch's incident we climbed the trees again and I fell off." Cloudflash explained.

Acornfall rolled her darker grey eyes, you could tell they were kin, "That's not all. He fell on his stomach because he was flailing his legs around."

Smokeypaw let out a mrrroow! Of laughter, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I was embarrassed." He muttered.

"Anyway, back to more important matters. What brings you guys here?" She asked.

"We're meeting with one of Frogpatch's brothers, Oakstripe." Cloudflash said.

Something flickered in Acornfall's Eye. Perhaps it was jealousy or maybe, betrayal, "Be careful what you say to him he's not always a cat to be trusted. I will wait in one of the willow trees." She left without giving them a chance to respond.

"That was odd." Smokeysky stated.

"Very."

Smokeysky flicked an ear in acknowledgment and looked outside. The moon was rising high. Cloudflash came out too and sat next to her.

"What do you think is awaiting us?" Smokeysky asked him, though she was not looking at him.

"We'll have to wait and see, and no matter what it is we'll face it together." Smokeysky looked at him in awe at his words. He sounds as wise as an elder.

She must have been staring at him for a while because of what he said next, "I can stare at you too, if you want." Cloudflash laughed.

"The thing is I don't want to stare at you. However, I'm sure you'd love to look at yourself any day."

"I can't help it when I'm so beautiful."

"What, even? Huh?

"I'm so amazing I left you in shock. You can't say anything."

"Mouse-brain."

"What!?"

"Nothing."

"I see you two are having fun." A tom purred. Smokeysky looked up at the new voice in surprise along with Cloudflash. Oakstripe was hovered over them on the rock.

"Where's Frogpatch?" Cloudflash asked whilst losing his cocky tone.

"Oakstripe I swear if you dragged me over here for something stupid like last time I'll-" Another voice stopped abruptly as it came into Smokeysky's view. Frogpatch stood there next to Oakstripe, confusion glittered in his dark brown eyes.

"Frogpatch." Smokeysky said, though it sounded like a question.

"Smokeysky? I haven't seen you in moons!" Then he looked at Cloudflash. "And what are you doing here, Cloudflash? Shouldn't you be in PineClan?"

"Come down here and we'll answer your questions."

What do you think Acornfall's problem with Oakstripe is? I plan for this book to be about 30 chapters, but now I'm thinking it's only going to be about 22 or so. 😢. I don't want to drag it out. So do you think I should make a sequeal? I'll give more information about what the sequeal would be about at the end of the book.
