Smokeystar searched for the cat she was looking for in the crowd. It was difficult, yes, but she knew that StarClan destined this very cat. After she named the new deputy she could finally talk to Cloudflash.

"...Acornfall!" She hadn't chose Frogpatch mainly because he wasn't experienced. Acornfall is older and can give advice she can't get from a younger warrior. After all, she, herself is very young.

"I gladly accept. Thank you Smokeystar." Acornfall accepted.

Smokeystar gave her a quick nod before leaping down from the top of her 'den'. The few cats in SmokeClan murmured amongst themselves. A pair of grey eyes stood out from the rest. They were looking straight at her, as if they were looking for her too.

"Cloudflash." Smokeystar exclaimed as she padded to him.

"I have some bad news."

Smokeystar's heart sank, "What is it?"

"Someone is plotting something against us. I saw two cats. I think one was name Nightwind. I'm not sure about the other one." Cloudflash explained.

"What were they talking about?" Smokeystar asked curiously.

Cloudflash hesitated, "Something about missions being completed. I didn't hear all of it."

Smokeystar thought for a moment. Why did he hesitate. Is there something he's not telling me? "Where did you hear this?"

Cloudflash flicked his ears towards PineClan, "I wanted to do some hunting when I heard voices. I came closer, but I accidentally rustled some leaves."

"Okay, well tell me of you hear anything new. We don't have enough information to suspect anything."

"I understand."

Unknown's Point of View

"Snowleaf won't be happy once she figures someone is on to us." Nightwind pointed out.

I growled, "Then don't tell her."

"How do you think it will take for your brother to join us?" She asked me.

"I don't know. But I do know he won't stay for much longer. He just needs enough information so we stay one step ahead of them. I just hope he doesn't become one of them." I explained.

"Very well. We need to report to Snowleaf. In just a few sunrises our plan will be set into motion." Nightwind meowed.

"Perhaps sooner than you think." A new voice spoke.

"You have the information we need?" I ask.

"Yes." He replied.

"Then our plan can be set into motion tomorrow. Lets go." Nightwind ordered.

I'm sorry this was so short. I didn't know what do for this chapter. I guess it just connects the last chapter to the next chapter. Well, just get ready for stuff to go down.
