"Hey baby, wake up. We are almost there. 5 minutes nalang." I felt my mommy shaking me.
"I am awake now, mom."
"Please behave there, baby girl. Call me when something goes wrong. And please, do not get yourself into trouble."
"Yes, mommy. Look, I will be fine."
"I know you're responsible, baby, but I want you to take good care of yourself. We are here," mom said.
I looked around and it was such a pretty place. It felt like I was in a small version of Ateneo.
Blue and white everywhere. Trees and shade.
"Hey, mom, I am going to miss you," I told my mommy and saw her tearing up.
"I will miss you too, my princess. Have a great time." She said and kissed me on my forehead.
"Mom, I love you."
"I love you too, my baby."
"I guess this is it, bye!" I told her, and she kissed and hugged me very tightly.
Gaaah, why does it feel like I am not going to see her for soooo sooo long?
I walked into the building. I guess these used to be classrooms.
"Oh hey, miss Lazaro. You are finally here!" I looked at the nameplate and it said Miss Cainglet
"Hi, miss. I just got here."
"Okay, I will lead you to your room. You have the whole day to settle and to go around." I walked with her, and we stopped at a blue door.
"This is your room. You will be sharing it with 5 other girls. Yun isa darating pa later. Btw, there will be a ball tonight, dresses will be delivered after lunch."
"Okay miss, thanks!" I said and she went out.
I was fixing my books on the nightstand when I heard knocks. My 5th roommate must be here.
"Miss Alindogan, this will be your room." I looked at the door and saw Jordyn, tita Jamie, and tito Marquis' daughter. Tita Jamie is one of mommy's college best friends, and they always hung out, so Jordyn and I practically grew up alongside each other.
"JDAWGGGG/MADZILLAAA!!!" We both said in unison.
"Oh kilala niyo na pala ang isa't isa. Sabay nalang kayo magtour later okay. Lunch is almost served, go down when the bell rings," Miss Cainglet informed us and left the room
"Hey J, did she tell you about the ball tonight?" I asked
"Uhm no pa eh, do you have anything to wear?"
"Miss Cainglet told me na the dresses will be delivered later after lunch."
"Oh okay," she said and continued unpacking her stuff
Lunch passed and everyone went back to their respective rooms.
"JHOOOOW!" I screamed as I saw Jhoana Nicole who happens to be my roomie!!! She is tita Jho and tito Nico's daughter. Just like Jordyn, we grew up together too.
"MADDIEEEE" She said and jumped to me. She clung to me as if she was a koala and I was the bamboo stick HAHAHA
"So who else are our roomies???" I asked her.
"MADDIE!!!" I looked at the door and saw Thamara(Tita Therese and tito Rex's daughter), Jianelle (Tita Jia and tito Miguel's daughter) and Elliana (Tita Ella and tito Baser's daughter)
"GIRLS!!!" I said and we all hugged.
*knock knock*
"Uy mga beh sino yern?"
"Idk Jhow. Might be our dresses!" Ellie said and opened the door. True enough, there were ballgowns in a rack, may shoes and clutches pa. Oh gosh, this is heaven.
We all picked out our outfits and exchanged stories until it was time for us to go to the party.

At the party
"Girls, girls. This is your first ball at the camp and expect more. Tonight, you are distributed into different tables," miss Cainglet.
"You are expected to be friends because if there are challenges in this camp, they will be your teammates," miss Ho
"Enjoy the night, ladies. Happy camping," said Miss Soriano.
Miss Ho, Miss Cainglet, Miss Soriano, and the other girls who run this boot camp are my mommy's friends. Collegiate teammates sila kaya mommy entrusted me to them.
I and the girls separated and looked for our tables. Mine was near the stage. Other girls were seated there already but I do not know them yet.
"Hi!" Kinalabit ako ni ate girl.
"Hi!" I sat down beside her nalang.
"I am Endriana Jade Laure. Ej nalang!" She introduced herself
"Oh hi, my name is Madeleine Ysabelle Lazaro. Mads nalang"
"Owemji!!! Mads as in the great blocker of Miriam???" She asked.
"Yep, it is me." I said calmly pero mga besh I am panicking huhu gosh
"I hope I could see your face but nakatakip tayo eh." She said
"Maybe someday, we will. Baka bukas, haha."
"Hmm sana nga." She said.
Dinner was served and nakausap ko na lahat ng girls sa table namin except for this lady in royal blue.
Hmm, ako lang ang hindi kinakausap anubayan -.-
"Hi!" I said
No reply ugh
"Hi!" I tried again
Wala paring reply, friends.
I grabbed a sprinkle in the candy bar at the center of our table and binato ko sakanya.
"What the heck!!!" She kinda screamed.
"I was calling you kanina pa eh!!! Ayaw mo ko pansinin hmph" I said na parang bata.
"I am aware that you are calling me!!! I do not want to talk to you, that is it lang!!!" Oh meanie gosh.
Di nalang ako umimik and nobody dared to speak again sa table namin except for EJ.
"Beatriz, that is rude! I will tell you to tita Aly!"
oh, so Beatriz pala name niya ah. Owkayyy
"Ej, ugh."
"I am sorry, Beatriz." I sincerely told the girl
"Ugh, whatever." She said. Heh bahala siya basta nagsorry ako.
"Girls it is almost 12. And as per tradition, your masks will be removed at 12 midnight.
Let us start the countdown
