Once I have settled sa room naming dalawa, it started raining so heavy. Humahangin na din ng malakas kaya nalipad yung mga paper ko, pictures and other stuff.
Saktong dumating si Beatriz at hirap na akong iclose yung window when she pushed it agad para isara.
"Thank you, Beatriz." I said.
"Welcome."
Ewan ko bakit but I badly want to know her and befriend her.
"Hey Beatriz, so ano plans mo habang nandito tayo?"
"I don't know."
"Beatriz, anong name mo talaga?" I asked
"Izabelle Beatriz Valdez. Friends call me Bea. How about you?" She said.
"Uhm I am Madeleine Ysabelle Lazaro. Maddie nalang. But my closest ones call me Flyfly or Madzilla. Pang asar nila haha" sabi ko.
(I do know na Isabel and Yrenea po yun but para parang twins talaga, they had to be connected in some way.)
"Hmm Maddie, can we be friends?" She asked kaya naman napatingin ako sakanya in shock.
"I know I've been mean to you simula nung ball but hey, kaya siguro tayo nandito para ifix yung things between us." She said
"Uhm... sure, Bea. Sorry din for bugging you with that small sprinkle." I said. I started hanging pictures up sa side ko when she noticed something
"Maddie, bakit mommy mo lang kasama mo sa pictures? Don't you have a dad?"
"Uhm, I was raised na si mommy Den lang yung nasa tabi ko eh. I don't know, wala akong nakagisnang dad. Sabi ni mommy may babba ako pero she never mentioned anything about her ever again." I explained.
"Wait!!! How old are you???" Bea
"I'm 14, how bout you?"
"I'm 14 too. Think about this, Madeleine. We are both Izabelles but with different spelling lang. We look so much alike na naloka pa friends mo. You grew up only with a mom and I only grew up with my mama whom I call babba, na siya lang din nagpalaki sakin. Do you have any other picture of her???" Beatriz
"I have a ripped picture and a half pendant."
"Oh my god!!! Is the pendant a volleyball??? " she asked.
"Yes!!! And it has something engraved on it!!" I said
"Shit, can I look?!?!" Beatriz said and grabbed something from her stash.
Pinagtabi namin yung locket and ohmygosh!!! Connected sila.
It even completed the words
"Always and forever, AD" then may eagle and infinity symbol!!!
"Shit!" Sabay naming sabi.
"Can I look at the picture?" She said again. Binigay ko naman and pinagtabi niya yun picture naming dalawa.
It was during my mommy's last season, yung hug nila sa court. OH MY GOD!!!
"Don't you think we're twins?!?!" Sabay naming sabi.
"Oh my gosh!!!" Sabay naming sabi.
"When's your birthday?" She asked.
"Uh November 14, 20** at 6:43 PM" I said.
