So I HATEEE when people go "Oh, we've lost our freedom of speech." and all that blahblahblah.
WHICH IS NOT TRUE.
'Freedom of Speech' DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING AND NOT GET TOLD OFF OR CORRECTED.
"Freedom of speech is the right to articulate one's opinions and ideas without fear of government retaliation or censorship, or societal sanction."

THAT MEANS YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING YOU WANT AND THE GOVERNMENT CAN NOT THROW YOU IN JAIL FOR IT.
BUT!
THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT OTHER PEOPLE CAN'T CORRECT OR CALL YOU OUT FOR SAYING SOMETHING THAT WAS EITHER a) Factually incorrect. b) Rude, cruel, or mean. c) Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or in any other way nasty. d)Harassing OR AND ANY OTHER WAY DISGUSTING.
STOP USING 'FREEDOM OF SPEECH' TO MEAN SAYING ANYTHING, NO MATTER HOW FACTUALLY INCORRECT, AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT IS OKAY.
I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THE STUPID PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET WHO SAY THESE HORRIBLE THINGS AND THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT.
JUST STOP SAYING STUPIDLY NASTY STUFF AND YOU WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT!!!
