Annie POV

I spent the whole afternoon flicking through a 'Arts and Crafts' catalogue from the Capitol. I was looking for decorations for the memory book me, Katniss and Peeta were going to start; I'd already ordered some White Sea Shells and some pale blue ribbon.

Haymitch was sat beside me, nursing a hangover with some coffee, it seemed the minute he found out Peeta was okay again, he'd gone back to his old drinking habits. The only reason he wasn't drinking right now was because we were expecting Johanna to arrive any minute. She was thinking of also moving to 12 and she hasn't seen it since her own Victory Tour back when she won her Games so she was coming to look around. I hadn't seen her for a while, and neither has Katniss who she was quite close to so there would be plenty to catch up on.

I don't even think Katniss knows that Johanna is coming, she's so wrapped up in Peeta. However, I literally couldn't be happier for her, for both of them really. I know how much they both adore and care about each other, it was so sweet how Katniss won't let him out of her sight for more than half and hour now he's back from his coma.

A knock at the door, interrupted my thoughts: Johanna has arrived. I put down my catalogue and get up to get the door. I open it and am greeted with, 'This place sucks!'. I roll my eyes at Johanna's comment and help her carry her bags into the kitchen where Haymitch was still sat.

'I had no idea they were still rebuilding this place! I passed by town and the only thing that looked open was the bakery! And even that was closed when I went by!' Johanna kept on moaning.
'Well, it's going to take a while to rebuild everything but look on the bright side, the weather is
good here!' I reason, trying to be positive.
'I guess but everything's better than district 7, it just rains constantly!'

I roll my eyes again at her, while Haymitch hands her a coffee. 'Nice to have someone around who isn't always speaking some positive happy-jolly-rainbow unicorn stuff!' Haymitch looks pointedly at me when he speaks, I am a pretty positive person and even though I get on with Haymitch really well he is pretty much the opposite of me.

'Well you always have Katniss around if you want negatvity!' I reply, joking around.
'Speaking of brainless, where is she? I was expecting a welcome party!' Johanna says, helping herself to a cupcake from the cupboard.
'Oh well she will be wherever the boy is.' Haymitch smirked, sipping his coffee.
Johanna laughs out load, spraying cupcake crumbs all over him. 'Like that is it?' She asks.

'Yeah, finally!' I reply, laughing as well, 'They went for some picnic somewhere, the woods I think.'
'Here they come now!' Haymitch says, waving his hand in the direction of the window.

Johanna POV

I rush up, leaving my cupcake half eaten on the table to see if Katniss and Peeta coming. Sure enough, there was a couple walking hand in hand down the road, laughing and joking but I couldn't recognise either of them, even though I knew it was them, if that made sense.

The last time I'd seen Katniss face to face was back in district 13 when she was about to go to war. That Katniss was one that had scars all over her, one that never laughed or even smiled; the one walking towards me was laughing her head off, no sign of any scars and a cheesy grin pasted on her face, mostly due to the blonde baker clinging to her hand.

And since the last time I saw Peeta, he was this Capitol mutt who hated everything, he's obviously changed a load.

And even me, who hates romantic and cheesy stuff, have to admit that they make a good couple.

They come through the front door in a bundle of laughter, smiling and hand holding. Katniss spots me and, to my surprise, comes straight over to give me a hug. To my even greater surprise, I hug her back.

'Johanna! I haven't seen you for ages! How are you?' Katniss asks into my ear as we hug.
'Im doing alright. It seems that you are doing even better though...' I reply, letting go of her and going back to my cupcake. 'Where did you buy this cupcake anyway? It's amazing!'

'I made it Johanna...' Peeta speaks up, from where he was getting a glass of water for both him and Katniss.
'If you like them, you should try his cheese buns, they're fantastic!' Katniss states enthuastically.
'Im sure its more than just his cheese buns that you want to try, ey Katniss?' My teasing gets an array of reaction from Haymitch and Annie who laugh there heads off to Katniss blushing like crazy to Peeta who doesn't react at all.

'Wow, you've been here for what? 5 minutes? And you're already using the dirty sex jokes! Very original.' He adds, sarcastically at the end of his sentence as he hands Katniss the water.

I roll my eyes but what he said helps Katniss laugh and stop blushing which I guess was the point of him saying it. To take the embarrassment of off Katniss that is. Peeta has always been like that, looking out for the expense of others.

As I look around at them all, sitting in the kitchen, I think of all their good qualities. Annie who can always find something positive to say. Haymitch who tells it like it is. Peeta who is always there to take the embarrassment of everyone else. And Katniss who puts people before herself.

I think it will be good to live here.
