Annie POV

I stumble down the stairs with massive purple bags under my eyes having got zero sleep since I woke up from my nightmare. My kitchen is still in packed boxes and I have absolutely no food in my cupboards, so groaning, I put on my coat and boots and run towards Katniss' house. I hope she doesn't mind me coming over, the shops in the town square aren't fully rebuilt yet so if you wanted food you had to order it to come on the next train from the Captiol. I haven't had chance to do this yet so I would have to eat someplace else for a few days.

As I got to her door I knocked but it was slightly ajar so it swung wide open; I was a little confused about this but then I remembered how Peeta had rushed here last night, he must have accidentally left it open a bit. This made my heart break a little, remembering how quickly he came to Katniss' aid and I have no-one to come to mine but also I was still happy that both of them have each other.

I want other people to be happy even if I can't.

I wandered through the hallway and into the kitchen where I found both Katniss and Peeta talking over platefuls of cheese buns. They both turned their heads when they heard me tread on the ceramic tiles of the kitchen with my boots.

'Im sorry! Am I interrupting something?' I ask, already backing towards to door, shyly.

They both blush pink in the cheeks and turn their faces away from each other so the other wouldn't notice the blushing. It was so cute I wanted to burst out laughing, they both like each other but don't know it! It's so adorable!

'No, it's fine, come on in!' Peeta assures me, I smile in return and walk towards them to sit on a chair next to where they were seated at the breakfast bar.

'I just don't have any food yet, I'm going to order it later today.' I explain.

'Thats okay, have a cheese bun, Peeta made them and they are seriously the best things I've ever tasted!' Katniss assures me, pushing a plate towards me.

As soon as I bite into the bun, the melted cheese enters my mouth and now I see what Katniss means.

'Peeta, these are amazing! I would eat them all day if I could!'

'Katniss wants to too!' Peeta laughs 'and thanks Annie.'

'Wants too? Um, now your back baking again, I'm eating them all day Bread Boy!' Katniss teases.

'I better make another batch then!' Peeta smiles back at her.

Katniss blushes as soon as Peeta smiles, this causes me to want to laugh like I did before but this time I do. Katniss and Peeta both look at me like I'm crazy (most people think I actually am) and I'm about to make something up when an un-noticed Haymitch speaks up from behind us.

'I see you've noticed too then Annie!' Haymitch laughs and by the twinkle in his eye I know that he knows why I'm laughing.

'Yep!' I laugh back, causing Peeta and Katniss to look even more confused than they already were.

'What?' Peeta asks us 'Why are you two laughing?'

'You wouldn't believe me if I told you boy' Haymitch answers.

I'm laughing so hard my stomach hurts, I think life is going to be good again.
