"Mackenzie." Gabe whispered.

I sighed and hugged my good knee on the bar chair that sat by our island.

"Gabe, I can't do it. I'm not ready to be marked." I repeated from earlier.

"Mackenzie, I don't want to see you in pain, if we delay it any longer, that's exactly what you're gonna be in." He whispered gingerly, I could feel his hot breath on my neck.

I felt a shiver travel down my spine, I stood up before he could try to mark me again. I pulled him outside towards the patio. I orginally planned on shoving him into the pool, but instead, Gabe wrapped his arms around my waist and turned me so my face was inches from his.

He kissed my forehead as I heard the howl of a dog. I looked out and saw one of the wolves, Izzy, running towards us. I raised my eyebrow in suspision, then I felt a wave of assurance wash over me as Gabe lightly traced circles on my shoulders.

"What is it Izzy?" Gabe asked.

She used the pack link to tell us there was a meeting. Gabe and I didn't hesitate to shift. Although it hurt again for me, the bone cracking wasn't as brutal, save for my leg. Then we raced to the pack house, our paws thundering against the weak soil. We heard more howls announcing that wolves were accounted for.

The meeting isn't until seven, do you think something bad happened? I asked Gabe using our mate link.

Dunno, I hope not. He replied with the same worry cracking in his voice.

We allowed our howls to fill the air, announcing that we'd arrived. The entire pack was here, except the kids, they were at the pack house "day care" I guess you call it. I counted every wolf in our pack, all 31 wolves were present.

The meeting is going to be held at the island. Go now. Zeke ordered the wolves through pack link, why was the meeting being held at the island?

The pack swiftly and quickly ran through the forest, dodging every standing tree and animal. Our howls filled the air. After evading every barrier and plunging into the lake water, we paddled expertly to the secluded island of Isla de Shunkaha which meant Island of the Wolf. There, we raced through a few more obstacles before finding ourselves in the middle of the forest. There, a clearing was set. Our entire pack waited for Zeke to start.

Enemies have been found on our territory. Zeke said in a very threatening tone of voice, well mind.

Rogue wolves are on our land, and they are a threat to us. Zeke finished before he let everyone think about what he'd just said.

I let my head hang low. I felt Gabe nudge me with his warm head, I licked his snout and he licked mine, I felt happiness run though me.

I know you're all scared but we've defeated the Rogues before, so we have no problem to do it again. Everyone here is either an expeirienced fighter or on their way to becoming one. Please don't be afraid, fear is our enemy. Never be afraid, fear is a weakness. My brother stood tall, his head held high and his stance just like that of a leaders. Still, there were cries of fear.

I walked away from my mate, I stepped up next to my brother. My brother is right, you can't let fear eat you up. We know how to defeat them, the Rogue are foolish and nieve. They don't take anything seriously. We know that, they have made many mistakes in the past and we know they will make more. We can win this fight easily, we could win this with each of us having one paw limp! Come on, be the Celestial Pack I know, be fearless, be strong, be comitted, be honored! Those Rogues will fall, or they will be running scared with their tails between their legs. We can do this. We are the Celestial Pack. I then heard howls of hope. Zeke pushed me lightly, surpressing that I had done a good job. If I were human, my cheeks would've flushed pink.
