(You may not believe me, but the names of the chapters are the hardest part of the story:D)

Faster.

Faster.

Faster.

FASTER DAMMIT!!!

Naruto was throwing everything he had at Kakashi. He was a bit miffed that the one eyed jonin thought he could read while fighting him.

Sasuke, for his part, only watched Naruto in awe for a few moments. Then he sprung into action, hurling a handful of shuriken at Kakashi's blind side.

Naruto went through a few handsigns, teleported to where the shuriken were in front of him and heading for Kakashi, then used the only jutsu he knew for his element. Wind Styl: Great Breakthrough

He smirked, not calling out the name was something Itachi had drilled into his head.

Naruto breathed out and blasted out a powerful blast of air that ripped the grass apart, sped up the shuriken, and slammed into Kakashi.

Kakashi exploded into white smoke and a log was hurled across the training ground.

"Not bad, Naruto-kun."

Naruto felt himself get hurled through the air by the back of his shirt.

Sasuke jumped in, going for an overhead strike that Kakashi caught easily. Then Sasuke spun, trying to kick Kakashi in the head.

Kakashi stepped back and slapped Sasuke's foot away.

Sasuke used that, twisting his body and reaching for the bells dangling from Kakashi's waist.

Kakashi smiled under his mask. Not bad.

Then he felt a spike of nearly unbearable pain in his back that blasted through his internal organs.

Naruto had teleported in with Hinata, who immediately slammed a chakra palm into Kakashi's back.

Kakashi tried to spin kick the two genin applicants, only catching air as they teleport away.

Naruto grinned as they appeared behind a tree where he'd lain a tri-pronged kunai. "Nice shot, couple more like that and we can beat him."

Hinata nodded, red in the face from both the close proximity and the odd sensation of teleportation. "Instead of trying to fight him, perhaps we should go for the bells?"

"Like Sasuke? Whatever we're better than that." Naruto replied, then peaked around the tree. "Get ready."

She nodded, then charged her fingertips with chakra.

When they teleported this time, Hinata landed a solid blow on Kakashi's leg, the chakra disrupting the entire chakra network in his leg.

Kakashi landed a chop on the back of Hinata's neck, going through the blind spot of the byakugan. The blow knocked her out and something clicked with Naruto.

He grabbed Kakashi's wrist, put one foot in his armpit and the other on Kakashi's neck.

Kakashi saw what the blonde was trying to do, and promptly channeled chakra through his muscles, and tried to slam Naruto into the ground. Naruto teleported at the last second, appearing just behind Kakashi.

Kakashi spun and delivered a haymaker, knocking Naruto out cold. "Good but predictable."

Sasuke tried for the bells again, hoping to catch Kakashi off guard and grab the bells.

Kakashi slapped the young Uchiha to the ground, knocking him out.

Then he pulled his orange book from his vest. "Now for something a bit more important..."

"And that's how they passed, Hokage-sama." Kakashi smiled, still reading his book.

He was in the Hokage office with Hiruzen and Danzo.

Hiruzen nodded. "Itachi trained the boy well, eh?"

Kakashi nodded. "He's easily chunin level."

Itachi stepped into the room. "Hokage-sama I need to speak with you."

He nodded. "Kakashi, you may leave."

Once Kakashi had gone Itachi spoke. "The Uchiha are planning to take over the Village."

That set up a chain of events that would change the Village forever.

Naruto grinned as he sat down with Hinata and Sasuke at Teuchi's.

Naruto was sporting a black eye and swollen cheek, Sasuke had a handprint on his face that looked like it was throbbing and painful. Hinata looked relatively unhurt.

"Alright, a toast to the most bad ass group of genin ever! Old man Teuchi, three bowls of beef ramen and whatever my teammates want!"
