I plopped down on an empty table with my platter full of food and got to work on eating it all.
I knew that once I stepped in here, the cafeteria, I would be stared at. I am the only Alpha here that no one knows the name of and I also happen to be the only girl here.
I stuffed a burger in my mouth and felt eyes on me. I looked up to see half the cafeteria staring at Mr along with Kayden who was smiling and staring.
"Naiyla!!!" I snapped my head to the cafeteria doors to see Chance with a giant grin on his face along with two other guys.
I waved slightly with a hamburger halfway in my mouth and turned back to my food. After a few moments I heard three chairs scraping against the ground and looked up to see Chance and the two guys sitting down with food.
I immedietly sat up straighter not knowing what the other two guys intentions are.
"Hey Naiyla!!" Chance yelled a little to loud for my sensitive ears.
I slapped my hands to my ears and flinched at the pitch of his voice. I seen the other two flinch next to him and knew it was worse for them.
"Chance you are in a room full of wolves. You could've whispered and I still would've heard." I said.
The whole cafeteria seemed to be listening in to our conversation because everyone let out a little chuckle.
He blushed madly and whispered, "Sorry."
I chuckled and said, "Who are you." I asked the two boys on either side of Chance.
The one with the brown hair spoke up first saying, "I'm Alpha Derek. Mercy falls pack."
"Alpha Naiyla." I said simply.
The one with the red hair was staring directly where my eyes were; challenging me.
His brown eyes held mine in a wary battle. I could hear his wolf backing down and whimpering at Shira's growling but obviously his human knew nothing.
I stared the redhead straight in the eyes and everything got silent.
I felt eyes on me from every angle but I wasn't going to let this Alpha win.
I continued staring him in the eyes and he wasn't going to stop. He slowly stood from his chair along with me until he and I were at our full heights. We stood directly in front of each other staring each other down.
He scrunched his eyebrows probably wondering why I haven't looked away yet. I smirked and flashed my eyes green making him loose his balance and look away to catch himself.
I smirked and sat back down only when he did.
"Why do you look so smug? Its not like you beat him in a fight or something." I turned my head to see Chris leaning back so far in his chair that he was about to fall. Along with having his feet on the table.
"Were you ever taught any manners? Your feet belong on the ground. Not the place you eat." I said.
He smirked and crossed his feet, "Are you choosing to ignore my question because you are weak?"
My whole demeanour hardened making the atmosphere tense and suffocating. My eyes were blazing gold on the verge of turning green if they weren't already.
I stood up already feeling Shira wanting to come to the surface and rip him to shreds for calling us weak.
"Oh shit." I heard someone yell but it was in the back of my mind.
Calling someone weak especially an Alpha was sure to bring out their wolf and prove them wrong. My Lycan being a dominance issue freak didn't take too kindly to being called weak especially by an Alpha like him.
