Micah Reid Above^
**•**
Alpha Micah ReidI trotted around the forest floor, listening intently to my surroundings.
Every animal, every plant movement, every step I took, every breath I took was all accounted for.
What are you going to do about Alpha Naiyla?
I stopped in my tracks now listening in on what Luca had to say for himself.
What do you mean? I asked, not fully understanding him.
You know you hurt her, yet you do nothing. You know she knows you are familiar to her, yet you haven't explained to her.
Its complicated. I stated simply.
Even though it was much more than complicated. It was completely impossible.
As of right now I know that we once had a connection so that's making me want to get to know everything and anything about her. So I could remember.
Yes I've tried to open the green box but there are deadbolts and passcode locks on it. Maximum security.
It's not that it is complicated. It is that you haven't tried.
Sometimes I wished we were two separate life forms so I could punch him in the face.
I tuned him out and focused back on my surrounding since my breathing was louder than I wanted it to be.
I swiftly dodged trees and dead leaves trying to sprint every ounce of anger at myself out.
The sound of a footfall echoed making me stop dead in my tracks and stand up in my Lycan form. My ears moved around searching for the sound again only to hear hushed voices.
I got back on all fours and stalked towards the sound.
I peaked behind a tree to see a kid wearing a hoodie to cover his face but little whisps of brown hair peaked out here and there. And another grown man who was mangy and dirty looking. Rabid.
I was ready to pounce thinking the rouge was attacking but the boy spoke.
"We can't do it now he has come earlier than expected." he hurried out."Master said now or he's out. he wants the girl now." The rouge said in a croaky voice.
"I know I'll get her. Just tell him to wait for a little longer." The boy said before handing the rouge a couple of papers.
I turned around and took off in need to talk to Alpha Clell. As I ran back footfalls echoed in my ears on the shipyard making me stop short of the treeline.
There in the middle of the clearing walked Naiyla.
I stopped and stared at her for what seemed like forever just drinking in her beauty.
I kept as quiet as I possibly could and circled around her. I shifted and pulled on a pair of basketball shorts and walked stealthily up behind her.
"You really shouldn't be out this late." I said behind her.
Her head whipped around so fast I thought that she got whiplash. she studied me for a few minutes just staring, confused. Like she couldn't believe I was here.
"What are you doing out here this late? You could get hurt." I said genuinely worried for her safety.
"Im coming from training the other packs." She said after straightening herself out .
"Oh, well be careful next time. There are things out here that coud kill us both." I said after giving her a skeptical look. It not that I didn't trust her but I was feeling extremely protective of her.
I turned my back and gave her one last look before shifting and running into the cover of the forest.
