"I trusted you!!"

Those three words echoed in my head ever since she yelled them at me. After she ran away I searched for her.

I searched everywhere throughout the territory.

But it seemed like every time I would get close to her she would disappear.

And finally when I did catch up to her I was confronted with Caiome who would growl at me for a few minutes and block my way every time I would try and get around her.

So after a few growls and a swipe across my face by Caiome I realized that Naiyla really didn't want me to see her and I went back into the castle.

Kalise wanted me to tell her what happened but I just stormed past her and locked myself in the room. Every morning since that day I've went to Naiyla's door to check on her but she would just throw something at it. And every night I would sleep right next to her door.

It might be crazy and sound crazy but if I can't be near her during some time of the day that was the only way to calm Luca.

Now it's the day of the meeting with the Queens. The days we were supposed to have dinner with them they had and excuse as to why they couldn't attend.

So I was really itching to see them. Wondering if they resembled Marcus.

It was now 6 in the afternoon on Thursday meaning that tomorrow we would return back to the US.

There was an hour before we would be having dinner with the Queens. Only Alpha Nick, Naiyla, myself, the Queens, their consorts, Caiome, and Kalise would be present.

The only people that were allowed to be present.

I lay with my back in the bed and my feet touching the ground. I didn't really leave the room since the fight with Naiyla. When I would every time we were in the same room together she would glare holes into me and leave with Kalise and Caiome on her tail.

I didn't really blame her.

When we were kids she had a lot of trust issues because of her Mothers father.

He was a very devious man when it came to Nick. He would do anything he could to ruin their relationship.

Even kidnap Naiyla and keep her in a room for two weeks. He thought if he took her they would fight a lot and would fall apart but he was wrong and it only made them stronger as they searched for her together. He slipped up and didn't take a shower before he left her holding cell and they smelled her on him. Tortured him until he spilled the beans and then killed him.

She didn't trust any male after that.

It was hard for her to trust me at first. But I wouldn't leave her alone until she finally talked to me and we were inseparable ever since that.

Until I broke my promise.

A knock sounded on my door and i stiffened hoping it was the only person I wanted to see right now. To hold in my arms and apologize and kiss until I couldn't kiss anymore.

I stood up and walked to the door hoping and praying it was her.

I grabbed the handle and turned it only to reveal her father.

I sighed and straightened my posture, putting on my Alpha face, "Alpha Corvin what brings you here." I said.

His face was set in stone as he pushed past me and stood in my room. It made me mad that he did that and I growled.
