(11) Just Another Ordinary Day..I hope

Buzz-Buzz .

The vibration shock me out of my sleep. "Uggggghh." I groaned as I check my phone.

It read 6:35 a.m. "You gotta be freaking kidding me!" I had a text message.

Dami :* : Morning Jade...

Me : ...

Dami :* : I'm sorry, just that you... Infuriated me. Forgive me? ;*

I giggled.

Me : What was your problem?? You kept acting ... Weird. Was it something I said?

Dami :* : No love... Idk, something just... Clicked inside me. But I was driving home and I realized It                 wasn't right how I treated u.

Me : Pretty messed up if u ask me. But wudeva! Why do you have me up so early ??

Dami :* : I couldn't stop thinking of you...

I blushed at his comment. I continued to text with one eye open and the other closed.

Me : hmm, sounds fishy :P . Wyd?

Dami :* : honestly?

Me : yeaaaaaaaah.

Dami :* : thinking about us sweetness.

I screamed in my pillow. Ugh, Jade... Such a dork. Get yo life!

Me : Oh really? Hm...

We talked until I realize it was 7:30 a.m. I got school in two hours. Eff whoever made school. I triedto doze off again, but something kept me from doing so. I just simply stared at my ceiling watchingas time ticked on by.

I closed my eyes and pictured Damien's face. How when he smiled his smile, his dimple would show.

My mind raced to last night when we was on the dance floor. How our bodies were in sync. How my heart raced when his hand rested on my thigh. I felt instant butterflies appear in my stomach. I opened my eyes at glanced at my phone.

8:45.

With a sigh, I got up and prepared for today. I walked over to my closet and pulled out my dark ripped high-waisted skinny jeans and searched for my off-the-shoulder tee.

Finding it, I spread my clothes on the bed and headed for the shower. My hair curled right back up to its natural state.

Jumping in the shower and ran the hot water against my body. You know when you're in the shower just think about life? I got out and towel-dried my hair. Putting some moisturizer in it and leavening it hang naturally.

Checking the clock it was now 9:20 a.m. I put on my clothes and headed downstairs.

"Ma? What, no breakfast this morning?" I said walking in an empty kitchen.

"Ma!... Mara?" I looked around and made sure nothing was missing.

Day one, nothing missing. Amen.

"Hey Hun, your gonna hafta pick sum'n up on the way there. I ain't feel like cooking today. I think I'm coming down with something." She said holding her head.

"It's fine Ma, get some rest." I kissed her on her pale looking cheek and hugged her goodbye. "Oh! Wait, how was last night? I tried to stay up for you, but you know as young as I am I need my rest." She chuckled at her own joke.

"Ugh, Ma. So lame..It was great." I laughed. "Bye! Get some rest!" I closed the door and headed for my school. Hopefully I'll reach in time for breakfast.

I seriously need a car.

As if on cue, Damien rolled up. "Jade! Would you like a ride? You look like you're about to pass out!" He smirked. How I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face. "Oh whatever!" I jumped in the car.

"Thanks" I blushed. Feeling my cheeks turn red.

Oh C'mon! Pull yourself together!

"It really isn't a problem. Least I can do since I 'bitched' right?" I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic. I flinched when he cursed. It didn't fit him. The car ride was silent, but not awkward. Like a pleasant ride. Now that we're on good terms. I wonder how my day might turn out?

Just another ordinary day I hope.
