(13) Car Convo

We headed to the car and all that replayed in my head was the fact that I got a lunch date with the hottie. As usual he opened my door for me and I blushed like the idiot I am. We drove in silence until he turned on the radio kinda scared me so I screamed like the girl I am. He laughed a bit.

"I'm sorry, didn't mean to startle you. But you seemed into your thoughts. What's on your mind doll?" The way he said doll made my heart do a pitter-patter.

Ugh, wtf is yo problem Ja? Get...yo life!

"Eh, ain nothing. Just thinking bout my aunt..." I can't believe this was going to come out from my mouth, but I decided to say it anyway.

"Hey, let's... Skip school?" I said looking at him for his reaction.

"WHAT?! Skip? Are you out of your mind?" He screeched and I simply just rolled my eyes. The exact reaction I was looking for.

I smiled deviously and said, "Awe, what? Damien can't skip one single day with me?" I teased. I put on my famous pout face and brushed against his arm. But my plan was shot dead as I felt the strong tingle on the tip of my fingers.

I quickly pulled back my hand and looked away. "I was, uh, only joking about skipping. My aunt would kill me."

How does he do that?

"Good, for a moment I thought you were being serious. I was about to take you home with me." He smiled this sexy that made my stomach churn. Guessing my reaction pleased him cause he just laughed in my face, talk about rejection. What? I wasn't pretty enough?

Bastard.

"Relax. I was only kidding about taking you home. Do you really think I'd do that? My mum would kill me!" I played it off.

"Ha, like I'd actually wanna go there. Is you crazy? Boy, get yo life." I changed the radio station and stopped when I heard my song R.I.P by Rita Ora.

"Ooo, this is my jam! Turn it up Dam!" I sang my heart out. When finished I realized that I just sung in front of someone other than my teddy bear and aunt.

Shit.

I slowly turned my head and squinted my eyes towards Damien. Maybe if I squint he won't notice me, or forget the whole thing.

"Jade, I didn't know you could sing like that. Then again it shouldn't surprise me."

Don't. Move.

"Jade?" He said as he was pulling into the school gates.

"Jade are you alright?" He stopped the car. "You do know that I can still see you right?" He shook his head.

"Damn, was hoping you didn't. Er, it's nothing." I hurried to open my door and dash for the building, but unfortunately he held my arm in hostage.

"Nothing? Are you kidding me? You sounded better than Rita. You ever thought about singing? Like, really singing?" I noticed that his touch left a burning feeling on my arm. Then he did something that almost made me do a cartwheel and flip into a split.

He started to rub my arm. It turned me on more than ever. And why was he starring at me like that?

He should really stop. Unless he wants the Jade. Wink wink, I wouldn't mind. Rawr babe, Rawr.

"Jade?-"

"Huh? What?" He shook his head and laughed.

"Let's go to the library love."

I'd follow you anywhere boo.

"Yeah, sure. Whatever." I snatched my arm from his possession, grabbed my bag and shut the door. I rubbed the spot that still burned and wondered what type of supernatural power does this heifer have. He caught up with me and held my hand on the way to the library.

The hell he think he is? Please.

I pulled my hand from his grasp and gave him a stern look. If he thinks this is some free for all touching ]and I like him and stuff...

He's right!
