Cleo's POV
The packing was a nightmare. Ryx brought his truck over so I could put all my weapons in it since my car didn't have space. After packing my guns in their special cases and hiding them in his hidden compartment, I went upstairs to pack my clothes.
I pack lightly so I took my black leather uniform and a special camouflage uniform, which blends in with the surroundings, making me invisible. Then I packed some casual clothes with my black boots. "Ryx! I'm done!" I yelled, and I heard Ryx coming upstairs. He opened my door and looked in. "Where's your bag?" He asked, looking confused. "Here." I said, pointing at my backpack.
"What? Are you sure you packed for a month? That looks like it'll only last you a week maximum!" Ryx asked coming in and weighing my bag. I rolled my eyes at him. "I've been taught survival and packing less is much more convenient than carrying my whole wardrobe." I told him. He gave me a look and went and opened my wardrobe. "Hey! Don't touch my stu-" "Did you pack some dresses?" he cut in. "Huh? Why the hell do I need dresses for?!" I asked getting confused. "You'll be tracking your targets inside a club. Therefore suitable attire is needed." he said, searching through my outfits. "Wow, awesome. I love goofing around on a job." I said sarcastically. "You'll have to use your special 'girl powers' to bring down the thugs." He said, smirking. I curse in all the words I know, ending with a "no way!" "I'm sorry sis it's not my idea. Council's orders." he said. I cursed some more. "Why me?! Why can't Kayla do the seducing? I'll just wait around as backup." I sulked. "And no way am I gonna be dancing or drinking on the job!" I growled, before mentally scolding myself for behaving like a two year old. "It's okay sis, we'll be there for you and you don't have to dance or drink if you don't want to. "He said kindly. "Fine." I huffed. "Here I think this'll look good on you." Ryx said, showing me a black cocktail dress. My jaw dropped to the floor. It was a strapless black dress that shimmered in the light. It was up to my knees and on further observation I realised to my horror it was backless. "No way am I wearing this! I don't even know how it got into my wardrobe!" I screeched. "Yes you're wearing it. Now be a good girl and get in my truck with this dress." Ryx said, using his alpha tone on me. He knows it doesn't work on me but for some unknown reason he uses it. "Fine. But Never. Ever. Try. To. Use. The. Alpha. Tone. On. ME." I growled at him, punching his shoulder lightly as I packed the god damned dress and went to his truck. I checked the time on my phone. It was 9.00 pm, our flight was at 2.00 am. I played my playlist softly while waiting for Ryx to appear.
After 15 minutes he came, carrying a huge luggage bag. He put it in the back and got in. "What's in that?" I questioned, glancing curiously at the bag. "Clothes." he said starting up the truck and reversing. "Clothes for who?" I questioned again my curiosity growing like a wildfire. Ryx ran his hand through his hair, looking a bit... embarrassed? "I packed more clothes for you cause you weren't taking enough." he said quickly, giving me a don't kill me look. "You did what?" I asked him again, not quite believing the fact that he went through my clothes. "I didn't pick anything specifically, I just grabbed handfuls of clothes and chucked the in." He said, the tips of his ears going red as he drowned in embarrassment. For the rest of the journey I teased him about it. Revenge never tasted sweeter.
