Cleo's POV
From the moment Ryx whispered the dreaded plan, I was mentally screaming swear words in my head. If someone heard those words they would get detergent and clean my mouth with it. Literally. After I ran out of cuss words I dragged myself to the bathroom and turned on the shower, the warm water trying to relax my mind. Unfortunately it didn't work, so I gave up and sighed, tired with all the unwanted activities that have being troubling me.
The guys have gone to their own rooms to get ready and so did Kayla. I have about 20 minutes of privacy before they're bound to come stampeding into my room. Lucky for me I can dress up in 5 minutes. I trailed my fingers across the dress that Ryx picked for me back home. I gingerly put it on and checked myself in the mirror. The black dress fitted like a glove and I have a suspicion that Ryx put this dress in my wardrobe. But I must admit, it was very pretty. I grabbed my hair band and pulled it off, letting my wavy hair fall down my back. Taking my hairbrush I brushed my hair till all the knots were gone and did a side parting, letting my fringe hang a little over my face. My hair's done, now moving on to my makeup. I took my makeup kit and applied some eyeliner and mascara, adding a Smokey effect to my eyes as well. I applied my chocolate lip balm and I was done... almost. I went to my wardrobe and took my peep-toe black heels and put them on. Finally! Let's just say I'm not a fan of getting dressed up.
I took my sword, two daggers, a gun and a couple of poisons and hid them in the hidden pockets of my dress. Since the sword and daggers were smooth and flat, they didn't create any suspicious looking bumps in my dress. I checked myself to see if the weapons were showing but they were well camouflaged. I carefully sat down on my bed, trying not to ruin my dress. I sighed, my whole life turned into one hell of a rollercoaster, I don't know if I could even take any more drama. Instantly my disobedient mind flashed me Ryan's perfect face, his amazing eyes... his perfectly shaped luscious looking li- holy crap, snap out of it! I growled, he shouldn't be making me feel this way! It's not right... I can't let him pass my barriers, I'm supposed to kill him for heaven's sake!
But I can't. I just can't bring myself to even think about killing him. Annoyed, I looked around the room, desperately trying to find something that'll help me decide. My wandering eyes landed on the laptop, which was innocently sitting on my table. That can hold the information I need. I didn't even finish reading about him. I checked the time. I got a good 13 minutes before the others finish dressing up. I slowly got up from the bed and made my way to the laptop. My palm rested on top of the smooth surface, unable to bring myself to open it. I grabbed the chair instead, and quickly seated myself, not caring if I ruined my dress or not. My curiosity got the better of me and I snapped open the laptop. The screen opened where I left off. Taking a deep breath, I read the rest.
Extra information:
This individual doesn't have any criminal records and he hasn't partaken in any murders done by the Silver Arrows. Ryan Miles is better known as 'The Viper', the best assassin in England and America. Rumour has it that he doesn't work for any Council or Department, but seems to work solo. The reason for his joining to the Silver Arrows is a mystery. The people of America and England actually happen to have positive feelings towards this assassin. According to the various information gathered, Ryan Miles happens to be a 'good guy'.
My heart leaped into my throat. I didn't have to kill him! But I better clear that up with the Council. Tell them that there is no reason to kill him. I was on freaking Cloud 9. I felt light headed as I shut down the laptop. My heart was beating irregularly, and I don't think that's good for your health. I got up from the chair and made my way towards the large French windows. Opening the curtains and I gazed outside. The scene was breath-taking. The city lights were bright and colourful, and far away I could make out the shape of the Big Ben clock. I sighed happily, something is finally going the way I want. I gazed contentedly at the magnificent view when there was a knock on my door. "Coming!" I yelled, skipping over to the door. Wait what? Skipped?! 'You seriously gotta meet a doctor Cleo' I thought as I opened the door.
