Cleo's POV

"Oh my god Kayla! That is perfect!" I squealed, hugging her tightly. She hugged me back giggling. "I knew you would like it!" she replied, admiring her work.

The outfit consisted of a plain white V-neck, a black leather jacket, black denims and a pair of black boots. It was simple, and fitted my style and attitude. Hugging Kayla again, I shooed her out so I could get dressed.

After dressing, Kayla put my hair in a high ponytail and applied some mascara and lip-gloss despite my pleas.

"All done!" she announced, moving away grinning at me. Huffing, I looked at the mirror. My eyes widened in shock. "Wow... I must say... you did a pretty good job!" I said, staring at myself like a freak. Kayla smiled and waved the hairbrush like a wand. "Don't underestimate the power of a witch." she said, winking at me. I shook my head and laughed, this girl was crazy. "Thanks a lot Kayla. I owe you." I said hugging her and going towards the lift. I pressed the button and got in.

"Just name your first baby girl after me and we're even!" Kayla shouted when the doors were closing.

"I'm gonna strangle y-" I growled, but the damn doors closed, and I swear I heard her cackling like a... witch. Okay, that was just plain creepy.

When the lift reached the lobby, I practically sprinted out. I looked around and frowned a bit. He wasn't here yet. I checked the time and sighed. I was 10 minutes early. He's picking me at 7.30. Sitting down on one of the comfy chairs, I pulled out my phone and started reading. Reading is one of my guilty pleasures, but I'm not sure if there's anything to be guilty about reading.

I was so engrossed in my book, I didn't notice Ryan sit down beside me. "If someone asked you to pick between a library and a million dollars, you'd probably pick the library." he chuckled lightly. My head snapped towards him so fast I hoped my muscles didn't tear off.

Overcoming my mini-heart attack, I replied, "Well you know, if I chose the million dollars I could buy two libraries and still have enough to redecorate both of them. So I'll probably choose the million dollars."

Ryan's smirk turned into a look of shock and finally amusement with a small hint of something I couldn't decipher. He shook his head and smiled.

"Your one in a million girl, one in a million."

After Ryan's sweet sentence, even though I declared it the cheesiest pick-up line in the century and pointed out that it had some pun intended, we were in his sleek black Mercedes Benz, driving off to somewhere Ryan declared that will stay a secret even if I poke his eyeballs out.

Not that I intended on poking them out, especially since he was the one driving and I'd fancy the interior of the car didn't have eyeballs rolling around and veins splattered on the leather seats.

The ride was quiet, a comfortable and peaceful silence enveloped us with the exception of the radio, which was playing some kind of music I didn't really bother listening to. I looked out the window, watching the British streets whizz by until the buildings started thinning out and more green scenery appeared. We went on for about 7 more minutes before Ryan stopped the car near a forest.

"So is this where you murder me and feed me to a grizzly bear?" I joked, taking off my seat belt. Ryan chuckled. "Firstly, I wouldn't murder you in broad daylight. Secondly, I'm not interested in filling a bear's stomach, there aren't even bears in this area, not even a black bear, let alone a freaking grizzly. And thirdly, murdering people in forests isn't my thing. So you're safe... for now." he said darkly, earning a slap on his arm.

"Jeez woman, you hit like a man!" he winced, rubbing his arm. I gave a very unlady-like snort.

"Jeez man, you cry like a woman!" I imitated his deep voice, but only ended up sounding like a dude who was constipated.

He chuckled again, his eyes twinkling in amusement. "Let's go, before I bring my manliness out." he said, winking at me. I rolled my eyes at his perverted thoughts and got out of the car, inhaling the crispy fresh air. It smelt so earthy, natural and so free, I couldn't help but take in deep breaths.

"Guess I found out one of your likes. You love nature." Ryan said, coming up to me and observing me. I gave a nod and a happy sigh, letting my eyes relax at the sight of nature. It was refreshing to be out of the busy streets for a while, and I was going to enjoy every minute here. "So are you coming or do you prefer staying here and sniffing the air like a hunting dog?" He grumbled, kicking a small rock. I looked at his behavior in amusement. He must be really eager to show me his 'secret hideout' place, as he refers to it.

"Lead the way, my loyal Hunter." I teased him. "Woof! Woof!" he barked imitating a dog, adding some panting for more amusement. I started laughing, and he soon joined me. "Come on, let's get going. I can't wait to show you, you'll love It." he whispered in my ear, his warm breath tickling me. I gave me a smile.

"I'm sure I will." I said. He replied by taking my hand in his. As cliché as it sounds, our hands fitted perfectly, like two pieces in a puzzle. I gave a mental sigh of happiness. I'm not one of those hard core romantics, and I don't really believe in love at first sight, but I assure you these butterflies in my stomach aren't a normal occurrence.

We talked about normal things, like our favourite colour, music, food, likes and dislikes and so on. It was quite surprising how conversation flowed easily between us. I found out that we shared lots of common likes and dislikes. We both liked forest green and blood red, metal and pop music, Chicken and Cheese Lasagne, animals, swimming, horse riding, wrestling and even Kawasaki bikes and Mercedes Benz! We laughed and joked around, teasing each other like 6 year olds. Suddenly he covered my eyes, earning a groan from me. "Is this seriously necessary?!" I grumbled, trying to have a peek through the spaces between his fingers. "Yep, I told you this is a surprise." he said cheerily, and I could feel him smirking. 'I'm so getting back at him!' I thought grumpily.

"Almost there!" he reassured me, noticing my grumpy attitude. I guess my low growls and huffs of annoyance were understood. Faintly I could here a loud booming sound. I perked up my ears, wondering what it was. The booming noise got louder, and I heard Ryan push away some branches and usher me forward. "Surprise!" he whispered, taking his hands off my eyes. I stood still, completely spellbound at what was in front of me. My mouth was opened slightly as I took in the scene in front of me. "Do you like it?" he asked quietly, rubbing the back of his neck. I turned my gaze towards him. He looked so nervous, it was cute. "I don't like it." I said seriously. His face fell and he looked heartbroken. "I'm in love with it." I squealed before attacking him into a hug.

'This was totally not the badass girl I am, what the hell is he doing to me?!'
