[16]Do I Like Him?

'We had a spark.

Wheres that gone?'

-Alisons POV-

I woke up in cuddled in someones arms. First I got scared because I forgot what happened. Then all the memories from yesterday flooded into my brain.

Joe tried to kiss me.

I looked up and surely I was cuddled in his arms. Do I like him?

Why did I avoid the kiss. I honestly don't know.

I climbed out of his arms quietly making sure I don't wake him up. I walked over to the kitchen and decided to cook an English Breakfast. My favourite.

I cooked some eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, toast and some hash potatoes.

I made two portions, one for me and one for Joe.

"Whatcha cooking, good looking"

I jumped at the voice. I instantly knew it was Joes but I thought he was still asleep.

"Oh my goddd, you scared me!" I said.

"Sorryyyyyyyyy" he said with a puppy dog face and his ruffled morning hair.

"Awh you look cute with your morning hair," Oops. I said that out loud.

"Not as cute as you," he replied smirking.

I blushed but tried to hide it.

I gave him his plate and we talked while eating breakfast.

After a while Joe left to go to his apartment as his roommate whose name is Caspar I think will probably be worried as he was meant to come home last night.

Then I sat there in my own thoughts.

Does Joe like me?

Is he using me?

Does he want more than a friendship?

Do I like him like that as well?

Do I tell anyone about this?

I got brought out of my thoughts by Lilly. She walked into my room and asked how it went.

Do I tell her?

"He tried to kiss me," I said bluntly.

"OH MY GOD! FINALLY..wait.. tried?" She half shouted half said.

"I turned away so he couldn't kiss me."

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT! YOU LIKE HIM AND HE LIKES YOU!"

"I don't know. Wait.. He likes me?"

"Have you seen the way he looks at you?" She replied in a duh tone.

"What do I do?"

"Tell him you like him!"

"Do I?"

"Seriously? It's so obvious"

Do I like him? What if he hurts me? What if he cheats on me like Brad?

"I'll text him," I said so Lilly would stop talking about it.

She sighed and walked out the room.

Should I text him?

I decided not to text him for now.

Shit.

I have to to to work.

I quickly threw my hair in a messy bun. Put on a bit of make up and put some casual clothes on.

I walked out my apartment and headed to the Lush shop.

When I got there I was a couple minutes late.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't realise what time it was" I told the person that had the same shift as me as I walked behind the counter and hanged my coat up.

"It's fine, I did the same on my first day," he chuckled.

I smiled at him and he smiled back.

He's cute.

"Hi I'm Alison," I said holding my hand out.

"Ben," he shaked my hand.

He told me what to do so I went back to the storage and sorted out the bath bombs in the correct boxes.

Ben walked into the storage and said, "you can go and be the cashier now, I have to spectate and see how you do."

"Okay let me finish this box quickly," I said.

He came over and helped me unpack the last box and sort it out.

While picking up one bath bomb we touched hands and I blushed. Pretty sure he saw that.

We talked a lot and turns out we have a lot in common.

We both love pizza because duh who doesn't like pizza. And also whipped cream is our guilty pleasure.

We both love music and both love movies.

He was perfect.

Once we finished we went to the cashier bit.

He told me what buttons to press on the register and helped me help the customers.

We had the last shift so we were going to need to close up.

Once the last person left we tidied a bit more and closed up the shop.

It was only 6:30PM so we decided to grab a starbucks together.

"Hi John," I said as I walked in.
Yes I practically knew everyone who worked here.

"Hey Alison, what can I get ya?" He replied with a smile.

He was always a good friend to me.

"Cookie dough frappy duh"

He just laughed and started to make it.

"Here ya go and what can I get you?" He said asking Ben.

"Java chip frappy, thanks" Ben replied.

Once he got his drink we sat down and talked more.

"How do you know that guy?" Ben asked while taking a sip out of his frappy.

"I work here," I said simply.

"Oh, that must be amazing!" He said so excitedly which made me laugh.

"Yup," I replied chuckling a bit.

We talked for what seemed like forever until I checked the time and saw it was already 9:47PM.

"I should head to my apartment," I told Ben.

"Can I get your number?" He asked.

"Sure," I said and smiled at him which he returned.

I typed my number into his phone and he gave me a kiss on my cheek before I waved him off.

I walked back into my apartment and decided not to tell Lilly.

She would freak.

I fell asleep thinking about Ben and Joe.

Ben or Joe?
