[14]A Day with Joe

And on that note I fell asleep with Joe on my mind..

-Alisons POV-

I woke up pretty late but I didn't care, today was going to be my lazy day.

I went to check the mail and saw a letter from Lush.

I opened it immediately and scanned through it to see I got the job.

"EEEEEEE" I screamed.

Lilly came running through half asleep shouting "omg what happened everything alright!?"

"Yes!! I got the job!"

"Oh..well that's great," Lilly said while flopping down onto the couch turning the tv on.

*beep*

I went to check my phone.

'Joe'

I smiled to myself.

J- Wanna hang out? X

Todays gonna be my lazy day, what do I tell him?

A- Sorry lazy day x
J- Mind if I join?😉
A- sure
J- what's your address?
A- *insert random address*
J- I'll be over at 1 and we can start a movie marathon.
A- Sounds great
J- See you soon x

I made my way over to Lilly and made her scooch over so I can lay down beside her.

"Lilly" I said.
"Yeh" she answered still half asleep.
"Erm..well can u ehhh... go out today and come back tomorrow..?" I asked questionably.
"Joes coming over?" She replied straight away.
"..how did you know.."
"Easy, the face you make when you think of him is always the same"
I stared at her, "so what kind of face do I make?"
She pulled a face that made her look like she's day dreaming and then she scrunched up her face and pretending to throw up.
"Hey" I said.
"Look its obvious that you like Joe and Joe likes you"
Wait.
Did she say Joe likes me?
"Wait what"
"Don't pretend that you don't know, he makes the same face you do"
"Oh, but I.."
She cut me off by saying, "yes i'll go out for the night, actually I might stay at Zoes."

Lilly and Zoe clicked instantly, they are so alike. Of course Zoe would love a sleepover with her.

"Okay thanks"

She got up and walked to her room. I stayed on the couch in my pyjamas which were black shorts and a white vest. Simple but cute.

I'm pretty sure I fell asleep because I woke up to people talking.

I decided to listen in on the two people.

"She probably will wake up soon, when she does she will be quite moody since she just woke up but afterwards...well....good luck"

Then the front door closed.

That was obviously Lilly.

The other person walked over to the couch where I was and sat down by my feet.

They stayed there for a while which I found a bit creepy since I still don't know who that is.

I guess I should 'wake up' now.

I stirred a bit and groaned. Not all acting. This is usually how I get up.

"Morning love"

Joe.

I turned around and saw him staring at me with a smile.

"What you smiling at," I asked still half asleep.

"You, I'm so lucky to have you in my life," he replied.

Did he just say that.

I could feel the blood rising up to my cheeks, oh god.

When I blush, I blush. And I mean I'm  a strawberry.

I turned round so I was lying down on my stomach and hid my face in the pillow.

Joe pulled me up by picking me up by my waist and he placed me on his lap.

"You don't need to hide the fact that your blushing love"

Why does he have to call me love, it makes me blush more!

He had a strong grip on my waist so I knew I couldn't get up and walk away to hide it.

I put my face in the crook of his neck so he doesn't see.

I heard him chuckle slightly.

"Come on lets make some snacks for movie night"

Sorry its so short but I wanted to post something rather than wait a couple more days to make it longer.
