"i'm sorry"

I scoff at his words, "no your not"

"I am!"

"No your not River! You made a move on me knowing you were seeing somebody!" We've been sitting in his driveway for the last five minutes in complete silence. Awkward Silence.

"I should have told you ok? i'm sorry. Please don't be mad!" He begs as i turn away from him

"I knew this was too good to be true" I roll my eyes and turn off my car to keep from burning gasoline.

"what's that supposed to mean?" River snaps turning me around to face him before grabbing my shoulder .

I shake his hand off of me and get out of the car, walking to his front door.

He was still staying at the gang house and my room was still assembled so i might as well bunk here overnight.

"Atticus!" River grabs my hand which causes me to turn around and look at him, "what did i do wrong?"

By now i was fuming. He knows what the hell he did wrong.

I bring my hand up and slap him across the face causing him to grit him teeth and take in a sharp breath at impact.

"Your being a manipulative, stupid, lying asshole! Who tried hooking up with a girl he's been jumping at for weeks when the whole time he had a girlfriend!" I shout at him, "You are just how i imagined you were! And to think i thought you changed!"

Tears were brimming my eyes as River stared down at me

"we didn't hook up Atticus" He sighs

"but we almost did! Because you had to make a move while you had a girlfriend!" I retaliate back

"you kissed back! you wanted it!"

"yeah! i wanted it when i knew you were single! Not every girl wants in your pants while your seeing someone!" I roll my eyes once again as a single tear escapes my eye and rolls down my cheek

I instantly see Rivers face ping with hurt and he fight the urge to reach up and wipe my face.

"You've lost every ounce of trust i had for you, Because if your willing to do it to whatever girl your seeing now, then your willing to do it to me"

I run inside and go straight to my room. This time River let's me go, he lets me run off.

I bury my face in my pillows and break down. I fell for him, again. Im so stupid!

why can't i just be happy?

ahaha anyway. Sorry for being off of my updating schedule! I've been a little busy so i'm updated the last chapter and this chapter TODAY and the last chapter was really long😂 But anyway. Love you guys!!
