Bad Boy- Amil is about to have a fucking cow

I look up from my seat across the living room in the gang house to see River looking up me with a smile. I let out a small chuckle before texting him back

Me- if you think that's scary, just wait till you see my dad lay square eggs

I hear River laugh from the other side of the room, earning a glare from AJ and Martin causing me to smile myself.

"Alright delinquents" Amil growls standing in front of us as he finally enters the room.

I shove my phone in my pocket and see River shift uncomfortably in his seat as he sets his phone down as well. River was scared of Amil and as of what i know about him so far after our week of hanging out, he's not scared of anything.

"my daughter is right there Mil" My dad mumbles to Amil before Amil looks up and sees me sitting on the couch farthest from the boys

"If she's willing to fool around and spend a week with my nephew then she's just as much of a delinquent as the rest of em" Amil spits glaring between me and River

shit. How did he know about that

"Fine" My dad sighs crossing his arms over his chest, "What you guys did last weekend was stupid"

"Stupid? It was careless and you should all be thrown from this gang because of it!" Amil snaps causing us all to flinch in our seats

"But we talked it over and you guys are our best youths in the group so we can't drop you and risk getting jeopardized" My dad explains stepping back for Amil to continue

"Ryder is correct. Yet we do have punishment in store" Amil confesses before my uncle Ryan and two other unfamiliar guys walk into the living causing us to all snap our heads in their direction

"What's going on here" Ryan asks coming up behind where i was sitting and placing his hands on my shoulders, "What's my niece doing here"

"She was fooling around with River and the guys last weekend and almost got herself killed" My dad scolds looking at me with his jaw clenched

i may be getting punished lightly here but i'm in deep shit when i go to stay with my dad.

"Atticus what the hell"

I groan and put my hands over my face before i hear river stand up for me

"Don't punish Atti, It was me and the guys idea and we just begged her to tag along" River lies standing up from his seat

"River Adams Marksman, sit down" Amil scolds, "I don't care who's fault it was! You all could have gotten killed, and you just brought a bunch of tension between us and the serpents boiling to the surface"

"We're sorry Milly" Martin groans rubbing his head and closing his eyes

Martin didn't look too good today. His eyes were droopy and he was complaining about his throbbing headache. I told him to go home but he refused and just said he'd nap later. But now i'm wishing id just made him go home.

"Martin, are you ok?" I ask cutting off Amil as he was about to speak.

I nod my head in Martins direction and River and AJ catch on, AJ races to grab a trash can before placing it in front of Martin as River slowly starts to rub Martins back as he leans over.

"What's going on" I ask walking over to River and Martin as AJ disappears from the room again

"Where is his medication?!"I hear AJ shout from what i'm guessing is the kitchen.

I hear my dad groan as Amil leaves the room before my dad replies, "Top shelf, second cabinet!"

"its not there!" AJ shouts back.

I walk into where AJ was to find him rummaging through the kitchen

"What's going on with Martin?" I ask putting a hand on his shoulder so he stops stressing out. It wasn't healthy

"He has anxiety and depression and when he gets snappy and distant he gets migraines and naesua" AJ explains

"how do you know it's that?" I ask helping him look around

just look for a pill bottle with the name Martin on it. Easy Peasy

"I know my brother" AJ forcingly smiles before continuing to look around with me

"He passed out" I hear River pant from behind me

I see AJ's face drop and turn around to see River isn't very happy either

"that isn't supposed to happen!!" AJ shouts before racing out of the kitchen

"is he going to be okay?" I ask turning around to see River about to run off with AJ

River stops and turns torwards me before walking over to me.

He wraps his arms around my waist before pulling me against his chest.

Over this last week me and river have grown closer. He wasn't as egotistical and cocky as i thought he was. He has feelings , he just hates showing them

I nuzzle my head against his chest, breathing in his soothing cologne. I feel a soft kiss against my forehead causing my stomach to flip.

"I hope so" River sighs against my head, "I really hope so"

I changed the ending from what it was before. They are so freaking cuteeeee even in just these little moments they are still so fucking adorable brooo.
