I whip around to meet eyes with the one and only Josh. Hes leaning against the girls restroom door, he runs his hand through his hair carefully before stepping torwards me.
"Back up" I warn, "Dont come anywhere near me"
I take in a breath to scream but he covers my mouth before i have the chance. Without speaking a work he drags me out of the bathroom and out of the emergency exit where his car was sitting. I wanted to squirm and scream but it was as if my body was paralyzed. I couldnt move at all.
Tears stain my cheeks as he throws me into the passenger seat of his car and zooms away before i have my chance to escape.

Rivers POV//
"Miranda" I groan running my hand over my face to stop her constant talking, "Could you go check on Atticus?"
"Ew, no. I cant walk in there. Girl code" She holds up two fingers in my direction and smiles
"Ok" I groan pushing myself and her from the booth, "Ill go"
The sight in front of my when i open the door to the bathroom makes my heart drop. No Atticus, All stalls open, where the hell was she.
I pull my phone out of my back pocket and call Ryder immediately, when he answers the phone he sounds irritated and annoyed,
"River, i know your in town already. What do you want??"
"Atticus is missing"
By the russtling on the other side of the phone i already know his demeanor has changed. Atticus was his number one priority. She was his daughter and she was all he cared ahout. And no matter what they were always there for eachother. Ryder loves Atticus and Atticus is 100% a daddy's girl.
"Why does everything go wrong everytime shes with you?" He groans before i hear the jingle of what im guessing are his car keys, "Where are you?"
"That Burger Joint on 45 and 9" I murmur into the phone before Ryder groans and then hangs up on the phone.
As im examining the area i feel my phone vibrate in my pocket,

me- dont worry baby. Im gonna find you. Keep your phone on
babygrill💞- i cant stop crying. Im in the back of his car
me- STAY CALM BABY! You are my number one priority and i will do everything i can to get you
