Alec!"
"Yes Mom?" My six year old son shouts rushing down the stairs
"Where is your sister?" I groan officially exhausted and tired out from chasing children all day
Before Alec has a chance to answer we hear dishes clashing and giggles followed by an "uh oh"
I rush over to kitchen to find my mischievous monster playing in the pots and pans, "Allayna" (pronounced like Elaina)
"yes momma?" she innocently smiles with her still rusty english
"what are you doing honey" I laugh kneeling down to her height as she places a silver pot over her head
"its my hat collection" she giggles shaking her head as the pan wiggles before slipping off causing the impact to echo through the kitchen
"IM HOME!"
Both Allayna and Alec run from the kitchen, Allayna stumbling slightly to get up on feet, and rush to the front door where their father just walked in
River rounds the corner with Alec thrown over his shoulder and Allayna clung to his side before he grunts to pull them off his body.
He kneels down so hes eye level with me in the clutter of pots and pans covering the kitchen floor and slowly kisses me on the lips, "Hey babe"
"Hey" I sigh, "Layna got into the pots again"
"I got it" River shrugs beginning to pick up the metallic dishes and sets them back in the cabinet before closing it.
River stands up and brushes himself off before helping me up too, "What have you been doing all day?"
"Dance and Soccer and Studying, oh and i have to cook" I sarcastically smile before groaning
River pulls me into a hug and a moment after we feel two pairs of arms wrap around us too
"Lets go out to eat" River suggests causing both children to cheer and jump up and down
"Can we go to Chick-Fil-A?" Alec and Allayna ask grabbing the car keys from the living room
"sure, lets go"

AND ITS OFFICIALLY OVER💞 Im thinking about maybe doing a sequel based off of Allayna and Alec but idk. We will see. Tell me what you guys think.
