"took you long enough" Noah sighs as i slide into his silver lamborghini and toss my backpack by my feet

"i'm sorry" I groan , "my mom was stalking and i couldn't find my spray paint-"

I get cut off when Noah crashes his lips against mine, "It's fine. I forgive you"

I smile as he holds his hand in mine as he begins to drive off to the forest.

Noah and i have been friends since the pre-school. We grew up together. His birth name, is Dylan. But he hated his name so when he turned 18, he used his dads money to legally change it.

Every summer we go to the woods and paint targets on different trees. Turning it into a shooting range. We hate guns so Noah got his friend to make us homemade Bow and Arrows.

We still use them to this day, and we haven't broken from schedule since.

Now to explain the kiss. We aren't dating, but we're not only friends. Friends with benefits i guess you could say. We were close. We couldn't help it if we wanted to express our feelings every once in a while.

I furrow my eyebrows and look at Noah confused as we roll up to an abandoned, wooden building. -

"what is this place?"

"our new shooting range" Noah slides out of the car before jogging to my side and letting me out. He opens his trunk before handing my my bow and bag of arrows before he does the same.

"where's your spray paint?" I ask, looking around in total confusion.

"i already did everything inside. You just need to bring your bow and arrow" Noah reassures pulling my bag off my shoulder and tossing back in his car before he drags me inside.

When i'm in, i'm shocked. This wasn't like the woods. Some targets were hidden to where you had to duck and manouver yourself between planks and poles to hit it.

"you didn't have to do all this" I gasp beginning to walk around

"your joining a gang, not all of the shots will be easy" he smirks before he shoots an arrow in my direction

It moves so quickly i'm not able to move fast enough yet it zips past me, nearly hitting my ear, and hits a target behind my back

I carefully weave between two poles and duck under three playforms before quickly pulling my bow back and firing my arrow at the final target i was going to hit, I then turn around and pull my bow back to hit another target behind me.

After i already release the arrow Noah steps in front of my and ducks immediately to avoid getting hit.

It hit the center of the target but ignore it to apologize to Noah

"I am Sooo sorry" i gasp pulling my bow over my shoulder before kneeling beside him.

"it's fine, i'll be more careful next time" He
smiles standing up and patting himself off.

As me and noah are hitting some more targets together we hear a loud bang from the entrance. A quiet whimper releases from my lips as i feel someone slap their hand against my mouth.

I look back to see Noah, He slowly pulls his hand off my mouth and presses his fingers to his lips, quietly shooshing me.

I quietly follow him as he slowly crouches to a spot where we're both hidden.

"WHO IS DUMB ENOUGH TO PARK IN FRONT OF OUR GANG HOUSE?!" I hear a deep voice shout from another part of the house, "WE'RE THE SERPENTS! WE SCARE PEOPLE AWAY, WE DONT ATTRACT THEM!"

Suddenly a voice i'm all too familiar with chimes into the silence-

"Dad, its fine. No ones here!"

Josh

As i'm about to jump up and call out his name Noah grabs me and pulls me into his lap, putting his hand back on my mouth

"if we get caught, we're dead" he whispers in my ear

My breathing slowly settles and i pull Noah's hand off my mouth.

As i throw Noah's hand back he slams it against a wooden crate before he hissed and accidentally curses out loud - "fuck"

"WHOS THERE" the man we heard before shouts. Noah quickly squeezes his eyes and mouth shut

"I CAN HERE YOU!" The man shouts again, "JOSHUA YOU GO CHECK UPSTAIRS"

"yes sir" By the tone in Josh's voice i already know he's rolling his eyes, annoyed that his father called him by his full name.

I squeeze my eyes shut and try to disappear as i hear footsteps coming near us

I squeal as i feel two warm hands press against my knees before i feel a minty breath on my ear lobe - "Attikins, it's me"

My nervousness washes away and my stomach is filled with butterflies. I loved it when he calls me that.

Without opening my eyes I wrap my arms around his neck, hugging him. I was happy to have his arms around me again. To be engulfed in his glorious scent.

"stay here ok?" He whispers

I nod my head , nuzzling into his neck. He pulls my head back and kisses me on the forehead. Which causes me to open my eyes

"I love you" He mumbles rubbing my cheek

"i love you too"

If you read No Strings Attached you might recognize the name Noah. Which will come in later on in the story involving some drama between Atti's lover/childhood bestfriend and Ryder :)))

Also. Ship Names!! I NEED SOME

Am i the only one who ships Hayden and Cassidy?? Or Atticus and Josh?? Maybe even Atticus and Noah?? What about some ship names for the brady bunch gang to use for Kai and Kason???

Alsooo. Who lowkey wants to see Makana and Atticus get together???
