A major problem with people today that can be easily recognized and avoided is dealing with or being involved with "Master Manipulators" So many people become entrapped in the webs that manipulative individuals weave and wind up losing there self worth and individuality in the process. Manipulators will disguise their interests as your interests to pull you in and immediately begin imposing their interests and beliefs upon you. They are attempting to convert your beliefs and interests to theirs. They will begin breaking down your confidence and self worth as their first step in determining the type of person they are dealing with. They are determining how weak or how strong psychologically their victim is.
Selfish intentions fuel the manipulators moves and plan of attack. They are after one thing and that is to gain control of your emotions. Every calculated move brings them closer and closer to victory. They know exactly what they are doing and feel no remorse or guilt for any pain or sadness that they might cause. In the manipulators mind there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way they are acting or the things they are saying. They are simply doing what they do to everyone they meet because they know no other way of living.
The best defense against a manipulator is to love your self enough to not allow such disrespectful behavior and treatment. If you believe that you are being manipulated then you should cut off all contact with that individual immediately and avoid contact with them at all cost. Don't answer their calls, messages, or invitations to converse with them in any way, shape or form.
