Chapter 3

Previously on Open Your Heart, Chapter Two: I take her hand and place it on her ring finger, on the right hand. It fits perfectly like it was meant to be there. Next thing I know, I'm being dragged away by the guys. As I'm being taken away, I see the girls surrounding her staring at her hand, and one of them going to touch it. Not on my watch.

Sinb POV

As I turn back to the girls with my hand out, we all have stunned looks on our faces. "What do I do?!" I ask in panic. "Take it off now Sinb" Yuju exclaims, but I can't move. So, Yuju decides to it and just before I tell her not to, I feel someone grab my hand into their own. I look up and of course, it's Jungkook.

"Don't touch it, only Sinb can touch" he says with his deep raspy voice. Yuju immediately jumps back and looks away. After a minute of silence, Jungkook is the first to talk. "I'll meet you at your locker after school. Don't keep me waiting, love" he says as he lightly brushes his lips against my forehead. He walks away with a wink. I think I died on the inside.

"Are you two a thing now?" Eunha says, well more like shouts. "I-I don't know, it's got to be a joke," I say in disbelief. "I think he's serious, he doesn't even talk to anyone besides the Best 6" Umji exclaims. "I'm never touching you ever again Sinb, he nearly killed me," Yuju says, looking like she's about to pass out.

"I'll see what he has to say to me, I'll give his ring back." with determination that somewhat seems fake. Do I really want to give it back? Yes, I do, he's no good for you, he's involved in a gang for god sakes. But that could just be a cover up.

"Please guys, I need some support. I really don't feel well right now" I slowly begin to feel frustrated and can feel tears on the verge of coming out.

"Don't cry Sinb, everything is going to be okay. We always protect each other and we're going to be with you the whole time" Eunha says and comes over to hug me. Yuju and Umji are beside me giving me comfort. I don't know what I would do without them.

Luckily Jungkook isn't in any more of my classes, so I haven't seen him since that lunch incident. I haven't stopped thinking about everything. I have to admit, I'm scared about him coming to meet me after school, but I've decided what I was going to say to him.

I got out of class late because my teacher was still taking up the homework answers, so I was unfortunately all alone.

As I open my locker, Jungkook comes over to lean against the locker beside mine. "Hey baby, how was class?" he says softly. "It was ok, thanks for asking," I spoke. Once I close my locker, I look at his beautiful brown eyes, "Jungkook- I" I'm cut off

"The way you say my name is so addictive" he says as he tucks a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

I need to get this over with, I can't have anything to do with him.

"You can stop pretending to be nice to me Jung-" I cut myself off, not wanting to say his name after hearing his first reaction.

"This is probably some prank you're trying to pull on me. Just tell whoever you're pulling this prank with, that I was fooled. And then we can both get on with our lives" I say with a serious expression on my face.

He gets off the locker and backs me up against my locker, so now I'm sandwiched between him and the locker.

"You think this is some kind of prank? Do you think I would give my ring to some girl, for a prank? God Sinb, I get that I'm the last person you want to talk to but you got to understand, I'm crazy about you. Fuck, I've never been so nervous in my life" he says as he gently grabs my hand, the hand with the ring on.

I'm at a complete lost for words by now. "Do you feel that?" he asks. Of course, I feel the tingles in my hand, as our hands are connected.

"Yes I do, but it's probably because I'm shaking so much" nice excuse Sinb.

"Gosh you're so stubborn baby" he chuckles, I like him calling me baby a bit too much. "Give me a chance, a chance to show you that I'm serious about you".

Don't give in. "I'm sorry, but I can't be with someone involved in a gang. If I'm with you, I'll be out in danger and your reputation will be ruined. We're just not meant to be together" I slip the finger off my ring and run out of the school, not hearing his response.

It hurt me to say those words to him. One look, one sentence, one touch changed everything. Despite that, we can never be together, he's not good for me, he never will be.

Here's the new plot. Yes, it was fast that Jungkook already felt attracted to her. But it's possible, some people just click, love at first sight maybe. There will be lots of mistakes so please bare with me, I'll go back and edit it after finishing the book. Also, my goal is to have at least 10 chapters up before the end of July, so stay tuned.
