Chapter 1

"Sinb get your ass up!" I hear Sowon scream from the kitchen. Isn't it great having your own human alarm clock that can stand by itself?

"I'm coming!" I scream back. "Are you are screaming at me Hwang Sinb? I will come up there and slap you with my spatula" my eyes widen and I rush into the washroom to get ready.

After finishing my business, I hurry down excited to see what's for breakfast. "Good morning my non-biological sisters," I say to the 5 girls in front of my eyes.

Mornin' they all reply. "Are you four excited for school today?" Sowon asks us. Yuju and Eunha are practically looking at Sowon in disbelief. Umji has her mouth agape and as for me I just continue eating.

"What? School was fun at my age" she speaks with a smirk on her face. "That's only because you were towering everyone in your school" Eunha speaks. As we all bark out laughter.

"Yah Eunha finish your breakfast, you're getting smaller" Sowon replies back. Eunha is practically fuming by now. Yup, this is how it is living my life with 5 girls.

As we all finish, Yerin offers to drive us to school, which we all agree too. Sowon and Yerin both have nearby jobs at the mall, the advantage of that is the amount of free clothes we get! Once we all get out the car, Umji and I say goodbye to Yuju and Eunha who are off to math.

While Umji and I have science. Waving hi to some of our fellow classmates from last year as we walk to class. Umji and I find a seat near the back and talk as we wait for the bell to ring. Then the door is slammed open and the Best 6 walk in.

The Best 6 basically run the school. They're a gang that scares everyone, no one's really had the guts to talk to them, except the sluts of the school.

The group consists of Namjoon, Yoongi, Jin, Hoseok, Taehyung and Jungkook. From what I've heard, Namjoon is really the only person that accepts the sluts request for a one night stand. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. As they walk in, everyone bows their heads down, out of respect.

As Jungkook passes us to sit on the table across us on the right, he drops a ring that happens to land beside my foot. He doesn't seem to notice. So, I pick it up and stand in front of him " excuse me, you dropped this" I say as I put my hand out.

Everyone in the class gasps, and now I have a confused expression on my face. The girl behind me tugs on my arm and tells me to get away from him before he hurts me. I stand my ground and turn back to him, "sorry about that, here's your ring".

He just stares at me and puts his hand out indicating for me to give him the ring. As I put it in his hand, our fingers brush against each other, it gives me a shivering feeling. He bites his lip and nods. I take it as my cue to leave.

He stops me by pulling on my hand. Another loud gasp is released by the class, including me this time. He looks into my eyes and mutters a thank you. I give him a small smile "It's no problem. It's a beautiful ring by the ways" I say.

"It's beautiful like you," he says, with a shocked expression on his face, I don't think he meant to say it aloud. I smile and walk back to my seat. Just in time as the teacher walks into the class.

As the class goes on, I take a look to my right and he's staring at me. I quickly hide my face with my hair and hope this class ends fast. Umji is giving me a pat of reassurance, knowing that I'm nervous and confused. Why would Jungkook do that?

Finally, it's lunch, Umji grabs me by the arm and drags me to the cafeteria. I look at her thankful. I could not spend another minute in the class with Jungkook's burning stare at the side of my head.

We get our food and find Yuju and Eunha sitting at the table we sit regularly at. "You did what?!" Eunha says to me with a disbelief expression, her being the oldest out of the 5 makes her worry about me constantly. "I did it because it was the right thing to do, the ring looked extremely expensive and probably meant something to him," I say with a shrug.

Everyone's silent as I continue to eat, then there's a lot of screaming coming from Yuju and Eunha.

"It's dangerous Hwang Eunbi!"

"Do you know what he's capable of?".

"Oh man Sowon's gonna kill you".

Come on guys, it's not that big of a deal, he won't remember me, it was just a simple gesture; I say quite sadden of the thought of him forgetting who I am. No! I can't think like that and immediately shake my head. As I wait for another scolding I look up to face all three of them, who hold nervous expressions.

"What? Are you not gonna talk to me anymore?" I say with a scoff. All three of them shake their head and nod their head behind me.

Confused, I look behind me and come face to face with a standing Jungkook. "Hey" he speaks with no emotion. I turn around and then face him again, "Are you talking to me?" I say pointing a finger at myself.

Then a light smile covers his face, "Considering you're the first person I've talked to in this shitty school outside my group, yeah I think I'm talking to you". I let a sheepish smile out "Is there something you need?" I try to say without stuttering.

"Give me your hand" he speaks boldly. I freeze, give him my hand? Oh god, I'm gonna lose my hand I mentally cry out. I come back to reality and slowly bring my hand up to him.

He takes my hand gently and slips the ring I picked up onto my ring finger onto my right hand. That's when all hell broke loose.

I know the story may be going fast, but it's supposed to be like that. There are differents plots. So did you guys like it? I tried to make it suspenseful and romantic. I liked this chapter, it made my heart flutter 😂. Thanks for the read :)
