Chapter 11

Previously on Open Your Heart, Chapter Ten: "Wanna play that way? I like the chase baby. But I'll give you a sneak peek about what's gonna happen on that date of ours" he said before crashing his lips onto mine. Leaving me breathless just like yesterday.

(Jungkook's outfit for the date)

Jungkook's POV

"God damn it!" my laptop shakes as I slam my hands on my desk. I came right home after school because I needed to plan my date with Sinb. I didn't know it would be this hard planning a date. I've never done this shit before, and I don't want to fuck it up with her.

Alright, get your shit together Jungkook. Movies? No, I wouldn't even be able to interact with her, actually, I could make out with her the whole time. No stop it, I can do that after the date.

The Crystal Ball Restaurant! It would be the perfect place to take her. The Crystal Ball Restaurant is where my mother and father first met. She worked as the waitress there, and her being clumsy dropped a tray of drinks. He rushed over to help her. From there on, their love blossomed.

The only problem is, I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep my emotions intact. After the death of my father, my mom would regularly take me to the dinner to eat and share stories about him. Whenever I felt like going out to eat, I would always go out to the diner. My mom had a lot of people working there who adored her.

I know that Sinb is the one for me, but when do I tell her about my past? Would she run away from me after finding out all the horrible things I've committed? I'll just take it slow, I finally decided. Now, what do people wear to a date?

"Jin!" I shout from my bedroom.

"What? What is it? Are you doing something stupid again?" he comes rushing into my room.

"I need you to find an outfit for me, I have a date with Sinb," I say trying to sound careless, I don't need him teasing me.

"Oh my! This is a very important moment for you, you lovesick puppy. Hold on, let me see what I have in my closet" he runs out before I can insult him. Lovesick puppy? I'd beat him up if he wasn't in the group.

He brings back a tuxedo, a blue dress shirt, and a flowery t-shirt.

"If you didn't get the joke, the flowery t-shirt is because you bought her so many flowers," he said laughing.

"Haha very funny. I'll take the tuxedo, thanks." I say picking up the tuxedo and scanning it. I turn back to see him with his mouth open. I raise my eyebrow at him questionably.

"You said thanks for once. This is amazing, she's really changed you! When do I get to meet her" he says with hopeful eyes.

"Maybe at school next Monday, if you don't annoy the fuck out of me"

"I see, you're still rude. I'll be going back downstairs to cook" he says leaving the room.

Now that he's gone, I need to make a reservation.

Sinb's POV

"A restaurant?" I ask Jungkook on the phone, we finally exchanged numbers yesterday.

"Yes, a restaurant. So wear something fancy and pick something black, I'm sure you'll look beautiful in anything," he says his voice getting deeper.

"Stop flirting with me! I'm already red as is. I need to go eat dinner, I'll see you tomorrow night." I say after hearing Sowon shout my name from the dining room.

"Alright, see you tomorrow at 7 pm. Eat well baby girl" he said before hanging up. Baby girl was a new name, I definitely liked this one more than baby.

After finishing up my dinner, the girls helped me pick out an outfit for my date. I finally decided on a black fitted dress. It covered my arms so I wouldn't need to bring a heavy sweater maybe a cardigan.

"Thanks for helping me find a dress guys, you can go to bed now" I said, they all walked out bidding me good night, except Sowon.

"Take a seat Sinb," she said while taking a seat at my computer desk. I sat on the edge of my bed anticipating what she had to say.

"Ok, Sinb what I'm about to tell you, you can't tell anyone else even the girls" she said with no humor in her voice.

"I promise Sowon, is everything alright?" I asked concerned. She lets out a huge breath and proceeds to tell me what's on her mind.

"So, the man I went out on a date with is someone that no one including myself expected. He's an amazing guy, if you look past his appearance. Since you're going on a date, I thought that you would be the best person to talk to about this. The man I'm dating is Jin of Best 6"

I tried to get something out of my mouth but nothing came out.

"I know it's unbelievable but he's really made me feel loved. I haven't felt that way with any man since my last boyfriend. The truth is, it wasn't my first date with him two weeks ago, I've been having lunch dates with him and that day happened to be our first-night dinner. So, I've been since last summer" she says wiping her eyes with a tissue.

"I'm not mad or upset Sowon. I'm happy you've found someone you love, we're both in some sort of relationship with a gang member. You approved of Jungkook sort of, but I'm not really seeing the problem" I say coming over to her and wrapping my arm around her back.

"The problem is, if my parents find, they'll make me move back home so I won't see him anymore. And you know my parents home is 5 hours away from here" she said as more and more tears began to fall from her eyes.

"I'll make sure that won't happen, but I do think we need to tell the girls so they can help us keep your relationship a secret. They'll understand, I'm sure of it".

"Maybe you're right, I'll tell them on Saturday since you have your date with Jungkook. And I need your support to do this" she says grabbing another tissue.

"That sounds good, I'll always support you Sowon. You and Jin are going to make it" I said giving her a hug.

"Thank you Sinb"

"Anytime. Besides if you did leave, I wouldn't have any one to fight with!"

"I'm pretty sure you were born in the wrong body," she said referring to my very boyish personality.

"At least I wasn't born with a structure that resembles a giraffe"

We spent the next 15 minutes chasing after each other and just bonding like sisters.
