A/N:

Hey... so here's an actual chapter. I know you probably are somewhat excited about this so feel free to skip this author's note.

So from the votes, the majority picked Option 1 and Option 1 was... well you'll see. Mwhuhuhuh!

As you may have noticed this book is coming to end. So here's my plan:

- Finish writing and publishing all the chapters (finish story)

- Re-publish the story but take out all the A/N's and do some grammar editing, etc. (also fix that bit where I wrote that Phil's was taking off his t-shirt but I mentioned earlier in the story that he already lost his t-shirt.)

- Make the book generally more aesthetically pleasing and maybe change the cover if I'm bothered, tell me if you like the cover or if you want me to change it, please.

- And finally, as requested publish a chapter about how the book would have ended if the readers liked even numbers instead of odd numbers, (publish Option 2).

- Oh and tick the Completed box on the book.

Now I leave you with an update... Also tell me what you think, I'm curious.

It had been a week since Pj's party and everything was pretty much back to normal. It was close to Christmas which was exciting because Christmas is your favourite holiday! (Sorry if it isn't or you don't celebrate it.) Any awkwardness there was between you and Phil had subsided. Finally Phil and you were just friends again.

Even though the awkward almost kiss and the secret "I love you's" still tugged at the back of your mind you ignored it. You liked sitting with Dan and Phil on the couch playing Mario Kart and cursing at each other, much more than you liked awkwardly standing with Phil waiting for something romantic to happen between you.

You had just gotten home from being at Dan and Phil's house and you sat on your couch checking your emails, like a responsible adult. Surprise, surprise during all of this personal drama going on between you and Phil you had actually considered your job and financial situation.

You had quit working at Starbucks and started a job at an office as a secretary, it wasn't fun or fulfilling but it was better than being at Starbucks and it paid more. You had been searching for work that could be a bit more long term than part time, you decided to put all of that work you did at University into your dream job, (your dream job).

You sent your resume to an up and coming company, (whatever your dream job is) Corp. and now checking your emails you see that they'd replied.

"Dear Y/N Y/L/N,

We have looked over your resume and you look like you would be a great employee for (whatever your dream job is) Corp.

We have a new location opening up in San Francisco and we would love for you to be apart of it. Since we are looking for fresh faces in the business world, if your interview goes well, we would have you work as an assistant to a junior executive and if that works out well and you prove yourself a loyal and hardworking employee, you will quickly be promoted to be a junior executive yourself.

We can talk more about this during your job interview if you do accept. The interview will be held in San Francisco in January and we would be willing to pay for your flights so that you can attend the interview.

Kind regards,

Mr V. Bigleader, Director of (whatever your dream job is) Corp."

Wow, was the first thing you thought followed by an excited squeal. You immediately rang the boys.

"PHIL! Guess what?"

"You missing me already Y/L/N?" You heard Dan call from the background.

"Shut up Dan, Y/N's trying to tell us something. What is it Y/N?" Phil replied.

"I just got an email from (whatever your dream job is) Corp. asking me if I wanted to have a job interview so I could work as an assistant to a junior executive!" You squealed.

Phil cheered excitedly, "that's great (Y/N)! I'm so proud of you!"

"Isn't (whatever your dream job is) Corp. an American company?" Dan asked from the background.

"Yeah they want me to work in San Francisco, I've always wanted to go to America and now I will probably get to live there!"

"That's so cool, you'll love it!" Dan replied happily, obviously now fully in the conversation.

"I know right!" You cheered.

"Wait but if you get the job it means you'll be living in America," Phil pointed out, "America is a bit far from England..."

You all sighed, the mood going from positive to negative in a matter of seconds.

"Hey, Phil! You know it's my job to point out the depressing things." Dan joked, trying to lift the mood and successfully failing.

"Well, I probably won't even get the job so let's not worry ourselves over it. Dinner at mine tonight?" You replied, not wanting to think about moving so far away from the two boys who had become such a big part of your life over the past year.

***

As you packed you suit case you wondered if you were making the right decision. Dan and Phil were going to San Francisco for a YouTube convention and had made their meet up dates line up with your job interview so you could all go together, it was actually kind of lucky it worked out that way.

It was silently decided that this would be your last rendezvous as a trio if you got the job and if you didn't... well, you would get to stay with Dan and Phil for a while longer.

This job was a big step for you and a giant step into the kind of life you wanted to lead. Yes, you were incredibly saddened that you would have to leave Dan and Phil so soon, they are a big part of your life even if you hadn't known them for that long. But like everyone that comes and goes they are a part of your journey and you are happy about that. Even that jerk of an ex-boyfriend, whats-his-name, you were happy you met him because if you hadn't have stormed out of the restaurant that night, you would've never met Dan, Phil and Pj.

You closed your suit case and sighed, maybe it wasn't worth it. Maybe you could just flunk the interview and stay with Dan and Phil. Sure you would be missing out on one of the biggest opportunities in your life but love Dan and Phil. No, no you will go through with this no matter the out come.

Some could argue that you could just keep in touch with the pair and visit each other, but you all knew that it wouldn't work. You would be busy with your new job and Dan and Phil will be busy with their YouTube careers. Sure they're busy with them now but it's much easier to take a ten-minute trip from your apartment to theirs and have dinner, it's just different.
