You lazed around your flat until you realised that it was 5:30 already. You had to be at Dan and Phil's at six. God would you ever get a break, you quickly tidied up your hair since it had become a mess since 6 am this morning. You grabbed the things that you would need to prepare the meal, you grabbed your purse and your coat before speeding out the door.
You nervously knocked on Dan and Phil's door, a door that you knew all too well. You heard a lot of shuffling on the other side before it opened, both Dan and Phil stood there excitedly.
"Daniel! Philly!" You exclaimed holding out your arms, they both gave you a hug and greeted you. "So do you want to come in?" Dan asked.
"No," you replied bluntly, they both became incredibly confused. "I want to just stand here outside your door," You smirked. Dan burst out laughing, "yeah, yeah smart ass get in." He said grabbing your arm and dragging you into their flat. It was much bigger that you first thought, it looked much better in real life compared to their videos.
"Sorry, it's a bit of a mess, I tried to clean it today but Dan refused to help," Phil said as you entered the living room. "Cleaner than my apartment, I'll tell you that right now." The boys chuckled a little at your comment before Dan noticed the shopping bag you were holding.
"Whatcha got there," he said pointing to it. "Oh, didn't Phil tell you I'm making dinner for all of us tonight," you replied. Dan began to glare at Phil and then dragged him into another room. You didn't mean to eavesdrop but they were both talking very loudly.
"Why didn't you tell me I look like an idiot?" Dan complained to Phil.
"Sorry, mate I forgot about it."
"Phil, you know how I feel about people cooking for me."
"She really wanted to and I felt bad saying no, plus I was excited to see what she was going to make."
"I guess but I just feel bad, like I should be cooking the meal."
"Don't worry about I was uncomfortable as well at first but y/n's convincing skills are fantastic."
Then you heard Dan groan loudly before coming out of the room. You were going to say something but you didn't want them knowing you heard the entire conversation.
"I can't wait to see what you cook!" Phil said excitedly as walked towards you taking the bag from your hands and shoving his head in it.
"It's a surprise, I can't tell you." You replied snatching the bag back and heading into the kitchen to start the meal. You had already done most of the preparation all you had to do was cover the fish in the glaze and cook it.
"But," Phil moaned following you to the kitchen. "It's only fair! You didn't tell me where we were going yesterday." You replied taking the things out of the bag. "Fine," he muttered ducking his head. Then Dan entered the kitchen, "how do you know where the kitchen is?" Dan inquired, you blushed a little. "Well... I can see it from the living room and it's pretty easy to work out considering the amount of videos I have watched of yours. Don't forget Daniel I am a fan." Dan scoffed playfully and left the kitchen. "Not a crazy fan," he muttered.
"Oooh fish!" Phil squealed as you took the fish out of the bag, followed by the spices and the citrus glaze you prepared. You pouted, squinting your eyes as you began to look around the kitchen for a bowl. Phil tilted his head and focused his eyes on yours, "do you need some help?"
"Um, yeah where do you keep your bowls." You replied opening a cupboard. As fast as he could Phil rushed over to the other side of the kitchen and brought back a bowl, handing it to you. "Can I be your assistant?" He said hopefully, you rolled your eyes, he was so imaginative. Phil was a little boy stuck in a man's body. "Ok, Philly." You replied taking the bowl from his hand and turning to the food on the bench. You looked at the way everything was set out and an idea popped into your head.
"We can pretend we're on a cooking show and I'm teaching the audience how to cook fish!" You said excitedly turning to Phil. His face lit up, "yay!" He said running out of the kitchen and into the living room where Dan was sat comfortably in his sofa crease. "Dan! Dan! Be the audience for our cooking show!" You heard Dan laughing. "Are you serious?" He questioned sceptically. "Yes, now come on! Please!" Phil begged to tug at Dan's arm. A loud groan erupted from the living room before Dan and Phil entered the kitchen.
"So what's this show called?" Dan asked sassily. You pouted in thought and put your finger to your lips, trying to think of something.
"Y/n and Phil Cooking Show!" Phil blurted out.
"Hmm, how about Y/n and Lion's Cooking Show," You said slightly worried for Phil's reaction. "I love it! You such a good thinker y/n." Phil said throwing his hands in the air. You laughed at how excited Phil was about cooking dinner and somehow it was twisted into a cooking show with a proper name, even though it was your idea.
"Ok, so Y/n and Lion's Cooking Show what are you cooking?" Dan asked.
"You'll see," you replied suspiciously, then you realised Phil had disappeared from the room. He soon came back holding a chef's hat and his lion hat. "Here you go!" Phil said excitedly shoving the chef's hat into your arms and putting on his lion hat. You fixed the hat on your head and begun the show.
"Welcome to..." You began pointing to Phil to announce the show.
"Y/n and Lion's Cooking Show! Rraawwrr!" Phil shouted.
"Today we will be making citrus and spice fish with an Asian salad." Dan began to laugh, you ignored him and continued.
"The ingredients you will need are," Phil continued. You began to list the ingredients and how much you would need.
"To begin, you coat the fish fillets with the citrus glaze. Here's one I prepared earlier." You said laying out the fish fillets and picking up the bowl of glaze. Both Dan and Phil laughed at your 'professionalism.' Your tried to ignore them but couldn't suppress your laughter. When you composed yourself again, you continued to rub the fish with the glaze. You smirked at the innuendo, you held up the fish fillet and rubbed it slowly with the shiny glaze, while you arched your back and made your best seductive face.
"Does this make me look sexy Philly?" You asked trying your best not laugh. A bright red blush began to grow on Phil's face, while Dan just exploded with laughter, you turned to Dan and stroked the fish again.
"You like this Daniel," you purred. You tried your hardest to force your laugh back down your throat but you couldn't bear it any longer. You burst out giggling, attempting not to drop the fish in all the excitement. Phil soon joined in the laughing.
~~~~~: Sneaky time skip! :~~~~~
Almost an hour later you placed the dinner on the table. The meal wasn't supposed to take this long but you guys couldn't stop making jokes about everything. You finally composed yourselves and sat down. "Enjoy boys," you said handing Phil the serving fork. "This is so fancy it's weird," Dan said shovelling crazy amounts of the Asian salad onto his plate. "Yeah, we never use this table to eat at," Phil added. You laughed, did Dan and Phil ever have guests over for dinner?
"This is fantastic!" Phil muffled while his mouth was still full of fish and salad. "Sooo good..." Dan said showing you the contents of his mouth as he dragged out his vowels.
