After five minutes of wandering and calling, you decided that it was no use. You pulled yourself out of the crowd to get your bearings. As you looked around you didn't recognise any of the buildings around you. You were completely and utterly lost.
You took out your phone, regretting not charging it yesterday as it only had 5%.
"Damn it," you muttered to yourself as you called Phil, he didn't pick up. You called Dan but he didn't pick up either, you called Phil one more time and he picked up.
"Y/n!"
"Phil where are you?"
"I'm... We're at the corner of..." Phil cut off, you looked down at your phone. It ran out of charge. Now I'm never going to find them, you thought to yourself as you plopped down a bench. In an attempt to calm yourself.
You hadn't been sitting on the bench long until you felt a pair of eyes burning into your slumped head. You looked up to see a man not much older than you surrounded by a few other men, who you assumed were his friends. As soon as your eyes locked he began to walk over to you.
"What's a pretty little thing like you sitting on a bench alone?" He sneered as he stood over you. His friends slowly followed surrounding you laughing and poking each other. When you didn't reply he started talking again his putrid breath hitting your skin as he came dangerously close to your face, "did you not hear me I said what's a pretty thing like you sitting on a bench alone?" He repeated leaning down to your face and roughly pushing your hair away. You immediately shoved his hand away, "I'm waiting for some friends so could you please leave me alone?" You snapped glaring at his ugly face.
All of his friends sneered and oohed, "we have a feisty one do we?" He said sitting down next to you but he was so close that he was practically sitting on you. You grunted and moved over but he quickly grabbed you, pulling you onto his lap and holding you so that you couldn't hit him. You squirmed and tried to pull away from him but his grip was too tight. One of his friends came close enough so you kicked them. The friend grunted moving away, "this chick is crazy." He murmured.
"Let's give us some room boys," the man grumbled, whipping your body around so that you had to face him. His friends quickly scurried away disappearing into the crowd.
"Now that we're alone, let's have a little fun," he chuckled leaning his face towards yours gripping your sides. "We're not very alone," you spat trying once again to pull away. He ignored your comment and continued to bring his face to yours. You squeezed your eyes together waiting to feel his chapped lips on yours.
Nothing.
You waited a few moments, but still nothing. You realised that you couldn't feel his slimy breath on your face. You slowly opened your eyes to see that Dan had his hands wrapped around you and Phil was holding the man's collar. Phil had an angry and assertive look in his eyes, you'd never seen Phil like this before. It scared you but it was attracting you at the same time.
No y/n stop, you and Phil are just friends!
"What were you doing to our friend?" Dan asked anger laced in his voice still holding you as though you might fall at any moment. The man laughed.
"Ha, are these the friends you were waiting for? These weak faggots?" He laughed. Phil's eyes narrowed, his grip on the man's collar tightened and his hand balled into a fist.
You watched as Phil brought his fist up to punch the guy in the face but you saw the worried look that spread across Dan's features. You quickly pulled out of Dan's arms and held out your hand in front of Phil's.
"No, don't it's not worth it," you said looking into his cool blue eyes that were burning with rage.
"But, y/n this man was going to hurt you," Phil replied lowering his fist.
"I know," you said and then you let go of Phil's hand and kicked the man in his birds and bees. "That's for trying to kiss me," you kicked him again. "And that's for calling my friends faggots," he was now bent over and groaning loudly.
"You're crazy!" He yelled and ran off. "Yeah go! Run away! You rat!" You yelled back as you watched him disappear into the crowd like his friends did.
You felt a hand on your shoulder and you turned around to see it was Phil, Dan stood directly behind him. Seeing their faces brought you to tears for some reason, you hugged Phil burying your head into his chest and squeezing his stomach tightly. It had dawned on you how scared you were and all your emotions came out onto Phil's shirt. Instead of trying to loosen your grip Phil just wrapped his arms around you, rubbing circles into your back as you cried.
You looked up at Phil, tears in your eyes, "do you want to go home?" He asked gently as if his words may break you. You nodded and pulled away, but you weren't out of the boy's touch for long because as soon as you did both of their hands were holding yours tightly. You smiled at how protective of you, they were.
"Thank-you," you whispered as the three of you walked back through the crowd letting nothing break the link that your hands formed.
"Y/n we would do anything to protect you, you know that," Phil said looking down at you considering he was much taller.
"I do now," you replied a goofy smile drawn on you face as you walked down the street next to your two favourite people.
