You walked silently with Dan and Phil for a while, still annoyed they wouldn't tell you where they were going. Then you got into the tube, for a little trip.
The tube ride was silent and awkward. Usually, you would be on your phone but you decided to be polite and kept your phone in your pocket. You could see Dan and Phil had the same idea because they weren't on their phones either. You could see that no one on the tube wanted to talk let alone hear a noise other than the rumble of the train. An old man started coughing and the people around gave him death glares. You smiled evilly, you'd thought up a devious plan. It was going to be hilarious. You pulled out your phone and stood in front of Phil so that he could see your screen. He casually glanced down and looked away, but he made a double take when he saw what was on your screen. For a moment, you thought about turning off your caller ID but you didn't worry about it because if he knew it would be way funnier. What Phil had seen on your screen was Dan's contact and it wasn't the embarrassing profile picture that he was worried about. You looked up at Phil and smiled, he knew exactly what you were doing. You turned off the sound on your phone and clicked call on Dan's contact. His phone immediately went off his ringtone frightening everyone around him. You held your phone down and slightly out of sight. Dan jumped at the noise and when he realised that it was his phone going off he started fumbling to find it in his pocket. When he finally got it out he looked at who had called and he death glared you. Hanging up the phone, he awkwardly put it back in his pocket and smiled at the rest of the people in the tube. Their glares were way worse than his, he mumbled sorry and put his head down. You knew he wanted to murder you right then and there but he couldn't. That was the beauty of this prank.
When you got off the tube you burst out laughing and so did Phil, Dan glared at the both of us.
"Frigging sporks..." He mumbled under his breath.
"Hey, Dan it was funny ok!" You said to him trying not to keep laughing.
"Maybe to you. Not to the stuck up snobs in the train..." He muttered, "an old homeless guy was death staring me! A homeless man!" He yelled dragging out the last part.
"It's ok Dan, at least you didn't get attacked by a squirrel," Phil said putting a hand on Dan's shoulder, comforting him. "Why did we even bring her?" He muttered to Phil. Even though only Phil was only meant to hear the comment, you did and you realised that you were being annoying and overwhelming again. That was another reason you didn't have friends you were such a handful. You decided to make amends, you sped up your walk and put your hand on Dan's other shoulder.
"Sorry, Dan I didn't mean to embarrass you. I can go if you want." You said to him solemnly looking to the ground at the last bit. Before Dan could reply Phil butted in, "Y/n don't go Dan didn't mean it he really didn't. He's just in a grumpy mood." Dan huffed at Phil's comment. "No Phil, it's my fault I'm such a handful, I don't mean to be. I'm just annoying, sorry." Dan smiled, "it's alright y/n, I overreacted anyway. You don't have to go." Then he started to laugh a little, "it was funny how that lady with the umbrella stared at me she looked like she needed was constipated or something!" We all laughed, walking down the street.
Soon we arrived at a market you immediately recognised it, it had all sorts of things there. Books, trinkets, fruits and vegetables, hand-made jewellery, seafood, soaps, clothes, bags, plants, honey, cheese and spices. It had everything.
"Oh, my god! This is my favourite market you guys! How did you know?" You exclaimed you were very excited. Almost all of the stall holders there knew you. Dan looked confused, so did Phil but he was more excited.
"Really this is your favourite market, we didn't know. That's so cool!" Phil said almost as excited as you.
"Yeah, ever since I moved to London, I've been coming here every week!... Well... Except for the last few weeks." You said looking down to the ground at the last bit. Phil started rubbing your arm, "let's go have some fun" he whispered into your ear. You looked up and smiled.
