Cleopatra drove to the nearest hospital and parked her car in the parking lot. During the drive over, her tears had dried up, but her anger didn’t. She couldn’t believe her run of bad luck lately. And now, all because of Tyson, her world was falling apart. She had lost her job and will probably lose her home. She’ll end up on the street or living in her car, where she’ll be raped by countless men.

And it was all Tyson’s fault!

It was visiting time at the hospital, so Cleopatra simply walked straight past the front counter. She didn’t need any help. She’ll find Tyson on her own.

After walking around for a few minutes, getting more and more annoyed, Cleopatra peered into a room at the end of the hallway. She found Tyson sitting up in bed, his leg bandaged up and hanging from a support from the ceiling.

Cleopatra rolled her eyes at the over exaggeration of his injuries and stepped into the room. She glared at him. “You,” she hissed as she balled her hands into fists at her sides. “This is all your fault!”

Tyson sat up straight in bed and looked at her, his mouth hanging open. “Hey, it’s you!” he yelled, his voice annoyingly loud.

“You little asshole,” Cleopatra hissed as she walked over to him, glaring hatefully at him. “Because of you, I lost my job. Now what are you going to do about it?”

Tyson looked shocked for a moment. But he folded his arms over his chest a moment later and stuck his chin out in defiance. “I don’t have to do anything!” he yelled at her again. “You’re the one who ran me over!”

“You’re the idiot who was out in the middle of the road!” Cleopatra yelled back.

“I was on the footpath,” Tyson continued to blame her. “You came careening at me!”

Cleopatra was about to tell him off for being a moron when a voice interrupted her. “What’s going on here?”

“Hiro!”

Cleopatra turned around, ready to tell this Hiro person off as well because she was in such a bad mood when she stopped. She looked at the man, seeing his blue hair, stunning blue eyes and lightly tanned skin took her breath away. “Oh…” she gasped.

He was hot. As in handsome, sexy hot.

Cleopatra looked into his eyes. There was something about them that drew her in. His arms looked powerful and she wondered what it would be like to be wrapped up in those arms. But she pushed those thoughts out of her mind. She didn’t need a man in her life. She was an independent woman. All men were trouble, anyway. And simply not worth it.

Still, there was something familiar about him. As if they had met somewhere before.

“This is her,” Tyson said as he rudely pointed at her. “She’s the one who ran me over.”

Those eyes turned hard, like diamonds and Cleopatra shivered.

“What?” Hiro asked her tersely as he stepped into the room, moving to stand beside Tyson’s bed. “Are you here to apologise?”

Cleopatra frowned and glare at him through her hair. “For what? “

“What do you mean ‘For what’?” Tyson asked, becoming more and more annoying with each passing second. “You ran me over in your car!”

“Stop saying it like it was my fault,” Cleopatra snapped, turning her glare onto Tyson again. She was slightly annoyed that her glare didn’t seem to be affecting either of the two guys, but that only prove how stupid they were.

“But thanks to you, I was late for work and was fired!” Cleopatra continued. “I needed that job, now I’ll probably be homeless! What are you going to do about that?”
