The thing that Peter didn't expect is that his plan to make me stop to investigate would be the reason which made me discover his secret.

You were checking at yourself in the mirror. You were very stressed, you  wanted this night to be perfect. Your mum reassured you, telling you how lovely you were. However considering that it was your mother and she would found you adorable with a plastic bag as a dress, you didn't really believe her. you had put your favorite formal outfit on with a pair of nice shoes. As you didn't know what to do with your hair, you watched some videos on YouTube to find inspiration. You finally did something sophisticated but natural. That was enough to show how beautiful your were and revealed your true beauty. You were sitting on your bed waiting for Peter. he eventually arrived and you ran downstairs. He was talking with your parents. He seemed a bit nervous certainly because that was the first time he was meeting your parents. Yet he was absolutely gorgeous. His tuxedo fit him so well and you wanted to ran your fingers through his hair. When he noticed you he smiled shyly. Your mother insisted to take few pictures of you and let you go.

During the all drive to the prom Peter looked quite worried. You didn't ask him why, maybe he was stressed by the prom after all Peter never has been a huge fan of parties. You eventually arrived to the prom and joined Ned, Michelle, Liz and some other mates of yours. the atmosphere was happy, everybody was laughing, joking, dancing. Everybody except Peter, he was still tensed. you asked him if everything was okay and he nodded kissing you. even if after that he tried to act like he was totally alright you didn't believe him. he was always looking around like he was checking that a danger was away from you. you took his hand and led him to the dancefloor. You both danced having the time of your life. He seemed more relax now. He was smiling genuinely at you and you wondered how you manage to get such a cute boyfriend. After some dances, you all heard a loud noise but no one really cared, that was probably one of the amplifier. No one really cared except one person and that was obviously Peter. he was tensed again and he looked all around the room.

_ Y/N you're probably going to kill me right now because I know you're having fun and you want to spend that night with me. but I've to go.

_ You're kidding me Peter?!!

_ Trust me if this wasn't important I would stay with you. but please believe me I need to go this is crucial.

_ Right go. You answered coldly. Can I know why you go? He took his time before saying

_ I can't tell you but please trust me. I'll explain all to you one day but not now.

He kissed you passionately and ran outside. You joined Ned you asked you why you were alone. You answered that Peter needed to go somewhere but you didn't know why or where or when he would be back if he came back. Ned nodded seriously and he told you to not worry, Peter was okay. You frowned something was unusual in the Ned's tone. He knew something you were sure of that however he would never say what. A rushed of panic filled you. there were 2 options: either he was cheating on you or he was in danger. You decided to clarify the situation thus you ran trying to find Peter. Ned tried to stop you but you were too fast and determined.

You checked in all the school and then went outside next to the bus park. You couldn't believe what you saw. There stood Spiderman he was fighting a flying guy. You froze in front of the scene, you didn't dare to move. That was so unreal. Suddenly you heard the flying guy laughed and said something to super hero of the Queens. He turned and he yelled something at you "Y/N please go home now, please keep yourself away from him, go home to be safe!!" he pleaded. You listened to him and ran inside of the school to find Ned. You spotted him next to the front door.

_ Could you drive me home Ned?

_ Yeah sure! Are you okay you're pale?

_ You wouldn't believe me if I tell you what I saw. You replied while walking to his car.

But he insisted and during the drive you explained him everything that has happened and that you were scared for Peter. He reassured you and you quickly arrived at your home. When you left his car, he insisted on the fact that you should not worry about Peter, he was okay. As you were undressing yourself in your room replaying the night in your head. That when it hit you, Spiderman seemed a little bit too afraid for you and he called you by your name. but he couldn't know your name except if it was Peter. everything would be logic if Spiderman and Peter was the same person. You felt yourself nauseous, you were worried sick for him. you sent him several messages begging him to come at your home as soon as possible. You needed to check that he was okay and to confront him to your discovery. You did your best to relax a bit and put some 30 seconds to Mars on. Their songs always made you feel safe, calm, happy. However this time it didn't really work well.

After what seemed an eternity you heard someone knocked at your window. You opened it promptly and let Peter came inside. He had bruises all over his face and he was concerned. As soon as he entered in your bedroom you hugged him tightly and he kissed your forehead.

_ Why have you bruises all over your face? You eventually asked trying to confront him.

_ I fall in the stairs. You didn't believe a word that left his mouth and rolled your eyes. You left your room to get some ice and you gave him. he smiled faintly.

_ Peter I ask you to come for one reason. You began and he was confused.

_ You won't break up with me? he looked at the ground sadly.

_ Obviously not. But I want you to be honest and answer to me: are you Spiderman. He looked at you in the eyes and you saw surprise all over his face. He remained silent. He opened his mouth several times but no words left it.

_ Please don't kill me. he mumbled. You chuckled and kissed him. how did you discovered it.

_ Peter when you hid your secret identity don't call me by my name. he faced palm and you found him even more adorkable.

_ Please promise me to never repeat that. It must remain a secret. I don't want people to know that and especially Aunt May and I don't want you to be put in danger.

_ Yeah sure. That's so damn cool I'm dating a super hero. you exclamied excited 

_ This is not cool Y/N! it put you in danger and I would die if something happens to you because of me.

_ Don't worry I'll pay attention. But as you left me during the prom I guess that owe me something. What about ending the night swinging in your arms all over the city. You teased as I took your hand and jumped out of the window.
