(A/N: the reason that papyrus is going to have to be the one that convinces Undyne to not battle frisk is because Toriel is the former Queen and to her she obviously has to be against humans too... except shes not.)

They all stayed still and eventually the figure on the cliff disappeared into the shadows and it was safe to move again. "Alright, we're good,"  Papyrus said after Undyne was out of sight. "Okay." The rest of them said, slowly moving out of the sea grass with Papyrus behind them. "Who was that?" Frisk said, curious. "That... was Undyne. She is the head of the Royal Guard and was trained by the King to kill any human that she comes across. But she doesn't have to kill you! The Great Papyrus actually came along to stop her from doing exactly that!" Papyrus said, proud of himself for knowing that it is going to be him that actually convinces Undyne to let Frisk go. "So that was Undyne..." Toriel said. "Yep!! Shes a good friend of mine actually,  that's why I think I can be the one to stop her from battling the human!" Papyrus said.

Once he was done he led everyone into the next room, it had four flower like things that you could pick up and a gap in the path, and Papyrus explained that you are supposed to put them in a row of four for them to create a bridge... even though he usually just steps over the gap instead of making the bridge, but after Asriel pointed out that that is something Sans would do, he decided to always make the bridge from now on.

About two rooms later they came to a room where Undyne was throwing spears at them. Toriel and Papyrus blocked her attacks with their own and yelled at her, trying to convince her to stop attacking. Nothing they said worked, so they just had to wait until Asriel could get Frisk to safely in some more sea grass. After 5 minutes of blocking attacks, Frisk and Asriel were in the safety of some sea grass. And once Undyne wasn't actively attacking, she apologized time after time for almost hurting the former Queen.

"It is truly fine, Undyne," Toriel said with a smile. "Are you sure Toriel?! Did I hurt you?"Undyne said, now worried that she might have hurt Toriel. "No, my HP was not lowered. Like I said, it is fine." Toriel said for the third time. "If you're sure... why were you blocking my spears anyway? There was a human! I could have gotten its soul and taken it to Asgore!" Undyne said, slightly annoyed that she didn't land one hit on Frisk. It was then that Papyrus spoke up because this is what he came along to do. "Well... Undyne, you see, this is a friendly human. This human does not wish to hurt monsters! You see... You do not have to take its soul." Papyrus said, nervous at first, but gaining bravery through his explanation. "Well... Toriel, what is your opinion on this?" Undyne asked, turning to the former Queen. "Well, I had come out of the ruins to protect Frisk, the human you just saw, on her journey through the Underground. It simply is not right to kill the humans upon meeting them and not stop and get to know them... In the time that I have spent in the ruins with my son, 6 humans had fallen into the Underground, and with every one of them, i did not kill upon sight. I took them home and they stayed with us until they had to go." Toriel explained to a shocked Undyne.  "But... Humans have caused us so much pain. Trapping us underground with the barrier... How could you forgive them?!" Undyne said at first but turned into yelling by the end. "The first fallen human, Chara, was a kind and nice human. And along with the other six humans that fell down, they are enough proof for me to show that not all humans are awful creatures."  Undyne hesitated before saying, "I understand." Undyne said, respecting her former Queen's choice.

"Does that mean you will not kill Frisk?!" Papyrus said, excited that his human friend was not going to be put at risk due to Undyne. "No, I will not." Undyne said, not exactly enjoying the fact that she was going to spare a human. "Yay!! Nyeh heh heh!!" Papyrus said, slightly jumping up and down due to the excitement.  "Okay you two, let's go find Frisk and Asriel." "Okay!" Papyrus said going ahead, with Toriel and then Undyne behind him. "Wait!! You brought the price with you out of the ruins too?!" Undyne said walking off with them. "Yes, my son came with me and Frisk, now let us go see what they have been up to this entire time." Toriel said. "Ok! I'm coming!" Undyne said running up toward Papyrus.
