"Ohhhh yes! Welcome beauties," A strange robotic voice said from the now smoke coming from the wall said, then continued, "To today's quiz show!!!" What looked like a box on one wheel with arms and had a 20 block screen said. Suddenly confetti fell from the out of nowhere onto Toriel, Asriel, Undyne, Frisk, and Alphys, and above them was a sign that said 'GAME SHOW' in all capital glowing letters. "Oh, boy, I can already tell it's gonna be a great show! Everyone give a big hand for our wonderful contestan -" He was cut off by Toriel who had just stepped out of the shadow she was put in.
The 5 monsters and human then heard the camera people that had come in to film Mettaton gasp. "Frisk is not your 'contestant'. She wanted to come out of the ruins to find her way back to the surface and Asriel and I had come to protect her from any monsters that got in her way. So if you would excuse me, we will be on our way." Toriel said, facing Mettaton. With slight hesitation, the robot backed into the wall he had come out of and all the smoke disappeared.
"Well ok then." Alphys said 20 seconds after Mettaton disappeared.
'Who was that?' Chara asked Asriel.
'I'm not sure, but I think his name is Mettaton' Asriel replied.
'Oh, okay.' Chara responded.
'What was he doing?' The human continued.
'Uhm, quiz show? Mom just stopped him.' Asriel informed her.
'Oh.' Chara replied.
'Well, I think mom is leaving so we better get going' Asriel said after 30 seconds of silence.
'Okay.' Chara responded, being the last thing said in the conversation.
"Well, we should be on our way." Toriel said, starting to walk past Alphys to the door. "Wait, Toriel?" Alphys said right before Toriel walked out of the lab. "I was thinking maybe I could come with you?" Alphys said. "There are a couple Royal Guards that are gonna want to battle Frisk, and I could stop Mettaton from making another appearance in Frisk's adventure. "Well, I guess you could come if you want to." Toriel said with a kind smile. "Well let's get going then." Alphys aid as she trailed close behind Toriel, Asriel, and Frisk.
About 2 rooms later they come to a bunch of lasers that had been activated. "O-okay, so to do these, you m-move through t-the orange ones, a-and f-for the blue ones, just don't move, a-alright? well, j-just copy what I-I'll do and I'll go t-through them first, o-okay?" Alphys explained, and after everyone nodded their heads, she started her way through the lasers. After she went through, she guided Frisk through, and then Asriel went last.
After they got through they went on to the next room where there were two puzzles to the left and right that they had to do before the center door would open, which was the door they had to get to to progress. "W-wait here, I'll solve this one for you, o-okay? W-wait here for a s-second." The scientist said as she walked to the left, then back to the right. Then after that, the center door opened and they walked through.
The next room had 3 steam vents that they then stepped on and took them to a brightly colored room that was really dark. "Mettaton! Come out, Mettaton!" Alphys yelled suddenly, which startled the rest of the monsters (and human) in the room. The light slowly turned on in the room, revealing a neon blue floor with yellow circles on it, a fridge, a counter with a egg carton, milk, and flour on it, a microwave, an oven, and a counter on the opposite side in the room that had a sink, a bottle of hand sanitizer, a knife and fork and a couple other things. The robot then showed himself. "But we were just about to start "Cooking With a Killer Robo - " Once again he was cut off by Toriel. "Absolutely not!" Toriel exclaimed. "We won't be participating in any of your films, Mettaton." Alphys stated. "That is correct." Toriel agreed with a slight nod. "Now we will be going." Toriel said, grabbing both of the present children's hands and walking toward the exit. Alphys then tapped something on her phone and the forcefield that would have been trapping them in disappeared. Then without even letting Mettaton reply, they all walked out of the room.
In the next room, there was this big view of a huge metal structure in the distance. "T-that's the Core, that's where we're g-gonna be going. There's an elevator straight to Agore's Castle. In the meantime, we should be going. " Alphys said as she brought the group to an elevator. She pressed a button and they were taken to another floor.
When they walked out of the elevator they went into the next room and saw Sans again. Asriel and Frisk walked up to Sans really quickly and asked him, while whispering, "Can we tell Toriel and Alphys you can teleport?" And he responded, "If you really want to kiddos, i guess you can." "Yay!" The two children said. "Mom!" Asriel called while Frisk yelled Alphys name. "We have something to tell you!" The two said in unison. "Yes, my child?" Toriel said while Alphys responded with, "What is it, Frisk?" Then Frisk said, "Sans can teleport!" Asriel followed up with, "Yeah, that's why he always ends up in front of us at his posts!" Toriel then asked him, "Is this true, Sans?" "Yup, sure is, Tori." Alphys suddenly went wide eyed and said, "Are you the only one that can do it?" "The kid over here asked that same thing, and i think i am, but i don't know." Sans said. "Well, it is nice knowing but we have to be going okay?" Toriel said. "Alright, see you guys later." Sans said as Toriel and the others walked out of the room and into the next room.
In this room there was a save point, a mouse hole, and a table with a laser safe with a piece of cheese on it.
They walk into the next room, which is just a long corridor, but when they get half way through it, 2 big monsters in armor come up to them. "H-hey, guys? You can get the day off today alright, this human doesn't need capturing okay? Undyne said it's okay so you guys can go home." Alphys said to the two Royal Guards. "If miss Undyne says so, then we can call this one off, especially since the Queen is saying it too, so okay." The two said and then turned around and walked away.
"Well, now that they're out of the way, shall we be going?" Toriel said.
