*One Week Later*

Peggy's POV
I walked into the dorm room with my sisters. They both walked in being greeted by everyone, while I stood in their shadow. I'm not a very social person. Small talk scares me, and I'm not much of a "party gal." I would rather be sitting in my room watching Daveed Diggs interviews or binging on Netflix. I sometimes listen to the musical called Miranda. It's about this guy named Lin Manuel Miranda who wrote his way out of hell and founded our country, you should check it out sometime.
Any way for most of the party I just sat on the couch while my sisters mingled and flirted with the guys. Until a tall clumsy French men spilt his drink on me.

Lafayette's POV
Oh man. There she was, the most beautiful girl in the room, Peggy, Just sitting on my couch. I ran back into my room to make sure I looked okay. I sprayed my axe colon everywhere on me until the bottle was empty and some of it went in my eye. It did not end well. I checked my hair to make sure it was nice and slick back. I fixed my silly man bun, until the hair tie broke. I caught myself in the mirror and said to myself

"Damn I look a lot like Thomas Jefferson."

I just shrugged it off and found more hair ties and put my hair back up. I then exited my room hoping to talk to Peggy. Then I felt a small tug on my arm and someone pulled me into the bathroom.

"Yo man you smell, like too much axe colon"

I made a extremely guilty face a sorta looked down.

"It might seem like you are trying to impress a girl"

I looked at the ground then looked up at my friends big brown eyes and said

"Uh Burr... what do you do to impress a girl?"

He thought for a second and then spoke.

"Well, for Theodosia and I. I was extremely nervous but I ended up just having a conversation with her and asked her out."

I was taking notes in my head and gave Burr a smile. Thankfully the smell of axe had gone away a little and I was ready to take on the dating world. I walked out of the bathroom and went for the kitchen to grab a soda. I then was on my way to the couch to talk to Peggy. As I casually *rephrase* nervously walked over to Peggy there was a loose nail in the floor. Being the clumsy, tall, French men I am, I of course spilt my drink on Peggy's beautiful, curly hair.

"Uh Gee thanks a lot" she said sarcastically.

I gasped as I was on the ground
"Ai mon ami I am so sorry!"

I ran to the kitchen to grab some paper towels and then came back to the wet Schuyler Sister. As I ran back the the living room I made sure I did not trip over the same nail. I handed Peggy the paper towels and sat next to her on the couch

"This went way better in my head." I said under my breath.

Peggy looked at me confused, I think my accent threw her off. I kept apologizing to her as she was trying to dry curly, now sticky hair.

"You know what, I think I should go." Peggy said to me trying not to sound rude.

I looked down like I had just made the biggest mistake ever.

"See you later, I guess?" I said nervously and shyly.

"Sure."
