Hercules POV
"I have to go." Lafayette said as he ran to our room.
I don't know what he's so upset about. All I told him was that I was dating Peggy, and he bolted. Everyone looked at each other and just shrugged. We thought Laff needed some time alone, until we heard a quiet sob coming from our room. John looked me in the eyes and bolted.
"Hey Laff, are you alright?" John questioned.
Lafayette did not respond back. You could hear him sniffing behind the door. I tried to open the door, but it was locked.
"Lafayette! Open the door!" I screamed as I banged on the door.
Alex was rubbing his temples and thinking. Then he bolted.
"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" I shouted at Alex as he ran to the closet "WE NEED TO HELP LAFF!"
"Relax Herc, I'm just getting the key."
John kept looking underneath the door to see what was happening in the room.
"Everything is alright Laff, you're going to be fine." John kept whispering through bottom half of the door.
John got up "He won't budge, he's laying in front of the door and is wrapped in a blanket. You can see his hair sticking out from the bottom of the door."
I glanced over John's shoulder, it was true you could see his little poofy pony tail sticking out.
"AHHA I FOUND IT!" Alex screamed from the closet.
He found the key to all the bedrooms in the dorm. He jiggled the key around a few times before finally getting it in (😏). Lafayette is a pretty big guy. He might look like a slim noodle, but he's very tall and heavy. Alex is just a noodle, with noodle arms and noodle legs. So I had to push the door open. Lafayette locked himself in the room for a good 30 minutes until we opened it. He was laying on the floor, in front of the door, curled up in a little ball and wrapped in a blanket. We all looked at him and thought
"What happened?"
Everyone just looked at Laff, laying curled in a ball on the ground and sighed.
"He's looks so cute when he sleeps!" John said with a smile.
"Yeah he does."I said happily under my breath and smiled.
Alex and John both raised an eyebrow at me.
"Let's get him off the ground." I said picking Lafayette up, bridal style of course. How else could you pick him up?
I placed him in his bed and said
"He must have had a rough night."
Alex and John left my room and I laid next to Lafayette in his bed. I rubbed his forehead as he slept peacefully. I wondered, what happened?
I kept yawning and eventually fell asleep, Lafayette wrapped in my arms. I told myself before shutting my eyes
"I'll just wake up before him."
He slept so peacefully still in a ball. I rubbed his back and whispered
"Goodnight French Fry."
