ITS MY BIRTHDAY

Alexander's POV
"Hey John my birthdays coming up, in case you forgot-"

"Don't worry babe I'm not like Charles Lee."

"Ha. True"

John gave me a small kiss on the cheek. His kisses made me melt.

"Anyways, who do you think I should invite to the party?"

John looked up and thought for a second.

"Definitely me-"

I gave a huge eye roll and wrote his name down on a napkin.

"Uhhh the gang, you know Laff, Herc, Burr and the Sisters."

I thought to myself.

"Wow I need to make more friends"

"Should I invite Washington?"

We both hesitated at the words that had just come out of my mouth.

"Nah" we both said at the same time.

"Hey it's 12:30 should we wake up Lafayette and Herc?"

"Yeah probably."

We both tip toed through our small King's College Dorm. Until we reached the end of a rather short hallway. As John reached for the door knob, We looked each other in the eye and we both knew that all hell would break loose if we woke them up. So we did it anyway.
John slowly moved towards Hercules bed, as I moved to Lafayette's. On the count of three we were going to jump on their beds and hit them with pillows.

"One"

"Two"

"Thre-"

As soon as I spoke that three I heard John scream, as Hercules and grabbed Johns ankles so John could not move. I looked my boyfriend straight in the eye as I knew that would be the last time I would see him again. I gave him a salut and I felt something grab my ankles.

"Shit" I said under my breath.

At that moment, I knew I had fucked up.

"NOOO LET ME GOOOOO I WANT TO BE FREE, LET ME RISE UP" I heard John scream into my left ear at Hercules.

"MARIE-JOSEPH PAUL YVES ROCH GILBERT DU MOTIER, MARQUIS DE LAFAYETTE LAISSEZ MOI PARTIR, JE VAS ME LAVER ET CESSER D'ÊTRE UN E PETITE BITE" I screamed at Lafayette.

"Mon ami I know all of that is a lie." He said in a surprisingly calming voice.

Lafayette being the pure cinnamon roll he is looked at Hercules and they both let go. John and I both sprinted to our room and locked the door. John grabbed his turtle, Ralph and began to pet him.
"It's alright Ralph, that big man will never get to you."
I chuckled and put my head on his shoulder. Then I looked checked my phone and realized it was a Saturday.

"Fuc-"

"DON'T SPEAK SUCH PROFOUND WORDS IN FRONT OF RALPH" John screamed at me holding the turtles head.

I rolled my eyes and got off the dirty ground and headed towards my writing desk.
I started to handwrite each invitation.
First to John, then to Lafayette and Hercules. Lastly Aaron Burr and The Schuyler Sisters, Angelica, Eliza and Peggy.

"My Dearest Friend,"

I wrote on the letters (On John's letter I wrote My Dearest,John)

"As you might be aware my birthday is coming up on January 11th"
"It would mean a lot to me if you were able to make to my birthday party. It will be held at my dorm room, dorm 1776 at 4:30 on January 11th (my birthday). Hope you can make it!"
I was satisfied with my letters and I slipped them under all of my friends dorm room doors. The fun was about to begin.
